Anti-Islam campaigner Geert Wilders is looking to form an alliance with other similarly-minded parties, including France's Front National, to fight next year's European elections, the Volkskrant reports on Saturday.
Wilders, who leads the PVV in parliament, recently met Front National leader Marine Le Pen for lunch to discuss his ideas for a pan-European approach.
'We think the same about 90% of things, perhaps more,' Wilders said in the Volkskrant interview. 'We also have a lot of points of agreement in terms of immigration.'
Many meetings
Wilders said the meeting with Le Pen is the first of 'many' he plans to have with other European party leaders in an effort of forge an alliance.
'Next year we can make an enormous advance,' he told the Volkskrant. 'Parties which are against what we call the elite are growing in popularity. These are parties which support the national interest, the national identity.'
Wilders declined to say which other parties he is in talks with and would not comment on whether he would visit new German party Alternative fur Deutschland. 'Some don't want it to be public,' Wilders said. He said he did plan to hold talks with the Flemish nationalists Vlaams Belang 'but they do not know this yet'.
Revolution
A political revolution is under way 'from England to Germany, from France to the Netherlands and Italy', Wilders told the paper.
'We are going to judge people by what they are, without fear for the electoral consquences,' Wilders said. 'I have more in common with those parties abroad than with the entire [Dutch] parliament.
The PVV took four of the 25 Dutch seats in the European parliament at the last elections in 2009 with 17% of the vote. As well as wanting a freeze on non-western immigration, the party says the European parliament should be abolished and wants the Netherlands to leave the euro.
Geert is Pro-Western civilization, period.

We don’t have to like every aspect of his personality. There is one thing, however, that makes him our friend: he loves his country and is dedicated to make it better. So does Marine Le Pen. So should we.
Nationalists of the World, Unite!
Geert is a great man. Should Westerners ever pull their heads out of their butts to reclaim their lands from traitorous elites, they can look back at Wilders as one of the loudest voices for preserving Western Civilization.
Typically, nationalists admire Israel as an overtly nationalist state and wish our countries be like that. That may, of course, clash with liberal Jews everywhere, who in turn label every nationalist as an anti-Semite.
I may not agree with him all the time. I think once multiculturalism is peeled away, he’ll find many other gruesome levels of civil dysfunction beneath that he might not be aware of right now.
That being said, I have read his book (highly recommended). He’s a patriot. He genuinely wants to preserve the Dutch way of life, history and culture.

Funny - the left in Europe has more or less been united for 40 years (at least). Now some conservatives decide to unite, to oppose them, and it’s considered a hate crime...
Something we need here in the US.....but you can bet the Open Borders and Free Trade Communists would whine and pee a feces-storm if we had a similar movement.

Indeed, but then the nation has the tools to deal with it. Unless a nation gains back its national identity and national self-government, it cannot deal with other dysfunction, it is not even aware of it, and in fact, in absence of the functioning national body social disease grows like mold.
Two lessons for us here: (1) we won the intellectual argument; (2) carry on. The din of the frightened Internationale should become an advertising for the nationalist right.
This anatomical curiosity shows that there is nothing of substance in globalism but mold.
