It's rigorous work keeping pace with all of these scandals, as House Democratic Whip Steny Hoyer discovered earlier this week, but we're doing our best nonetheless. On the IRS targeting issue, we covered a lot of ground yesterday and earlier, but the "fun" never ceases. It will come as a surprise to no one that IRS employees lean heavily Democratic. Their livelihoods depend on the existence of big, complicated government, so of course they'd vote blue. In the 2012 cycle, during which their agency's abusive methods were in place, IRS employees donated to Barack Obama over Mitt Romney by more than a 2-to-1 margin. What did the political contribution break-down look like in Cincinnati -- where the tax exemption office is based? Cough:
The Cincinnati office where the political targeting took place is much more partisan, judging by FEC filings. More than 75 percent of the campaign contributions from that office in the past three elections went to Democrats. In 2012, every donation traceable to employees at that office went to either President Obama or liberal Democratic Sen. Sherrod Brown of Ohio.
One. Hundred. Percent. The office's director is an Obama donor, too. The undue logistical hoops through which conservative groups were forced to leap are being document left and right; this one's especially egregious. Even as the president expresses (feigns?) outrage over the IRS' victimization of groups he's demonized throughout his presidency, and even after the IRS admitted wrongdoing, some liberals are still trying to justify the agency's actions. Some say the Tea Party deserved it because they're racist terrorists; others say their brought it on themselves through their "persecution complex" and attempts to abide by the law, or something....

Any town that could root for the Bengals is some kind of paranormal locus of evil energy.
That Cincinnati IRS Office just happens to oversee the states of Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, North Carolina, and Florida, among several others. Anything in particular strike you about that list? Those were essentially every critical swing state in the 2012 election.
It’s obvious. Also, those people will be sacrificed so as to protect the big guy.
“Its probably splitting hairs but I will defend my adopted hometown of Cincinnati and make note of the fact that the Cincinnati office is really located across the river in Covington, KY.”
We’re just about finished up with cutting out that area. As soon as we can find a tug boat big enough we’ll haul it across the river! :)
Then, keep 'em on until ya get all the Rat underlings for obstruction of justice, again all the way up to Obama.
BTW, regarding political campaign donations, all the appointees make them. That includes the Schedule Cs, and a good number of SES types make them. Middle Management and Technical Support personnel in the federal government typically DO NOT MAKE DONATIONS TO POLITICIANS ~ EVER!
The bargaining unit union reps and so forth make donations, but they are not at that mid-level where administrative due process (see Constitution on 'due process') is provided.
The statistic isn't that 75% of the employees at Cincy donate to Democrats. Rather, it's that of those who make donations, 75% of them make them to Democrats.
So who makes donations to the Republicans? Think about that one a while. I'll be back to you later.
This needs to be repeated over and over.
You know what pucker factor is?
This is the center where they make deals with people who failed to pay their taxes properly, so be kind and maybe even generous with your criticisms of them ~ you don't want to ever PO them!
Steny Hoyer LMAO, what a POS he is.
Did he finally get his nose out of Pelosi’s rectum long enough to actually smell something besides her waste?
I doubt that very much.
He is a disgrace to my State, but then so are Cardin , Mikulski, Lijah Cummings, O’Malley et al;.
Borg Democrats: If the party says Crap they all drop their pants.
haha! IF ONLY!! :-D
Wasn't this woman from Cincinnati?
Get your F’N shoes off of MY desk.
This picture of him with his feet up on a piece of furniture that should be in a museum really pisses me off.
It shows his total disrespect for the office and its history.
I’ve seen pictures of him with his feet on all kinds of the peoples furniture. I’ve with you. It pisses me off so much.
He has his feet up on the Resolute Desk. It is historic piece of furniture used by JFK, Carter, Reagan and George W. Bush. This piece of furniture along with three other Resolute desks were commissioned to be built from the timbers of the HMS Resolute by Queen Victoria. It is a national treasure.
