Under pressure to show who's boss, President Obama called a press conference late Wednesday to say he was angry that the IRS singled out conservative groups for extra vetting and to announce that the agencys acting commissioner had been forced out.
"Its inexcusable, and Americans are right to be angry about it, and I am angry about it," he said. "I will not tolerate this kind of behavior in any agency, but especially in the IRS, given the power that it has and the reach that it has into all of our lives."

Obama's former deputy press secretary, Bill Burton, said the president did the right thing by making a forceful statement on national television. "There are things that happen outside the control of the president, and to the extent that the president is able to take control of the situation, it's remarkably helpful," he said.

He cant let the Washington chattering class distract from his mission, said Capitol Hill lobbyist Steve Elmendorf. Every administration has these kind of distractions and they need to be managed and dealt with and not get thrown of his game.
A few hours before the press conference, Obama met with Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., to discuss immigration reform.

“Obama asked someone to resign who had already agreed his job would terminate in fifteen days. And hes staying on until then!”.
Apparently the position is a 6 mos. “temporary” position as director. The current term was ending in June. Stepping down one month early is NOT the same as being “fired”. Infact, the guy gets to keep his job in the IRS.
Odumbo goes out and fakes anger to make it look like he is actually in charge. He is not! Just another example of the “smoke and mirros” MO in the Odumbo administration.
Obama is so angry that he will demand a punishment of twenty lashes with a peacock feather.
Obama is drowning in SCANDAL!
Angry he go caught!
Pu$$y boy!
LLS
Exactly!

Really? I'm trying to remember Bush's comparable "distraction".
It’s easy to be outraged when you’ve already reaped the benefits of others illegal actions.
cry me an effing river.
Hey steaming pile, It’s your Adminstration, You are suppose to be in Charge! You are suppose to know what is going on!
Mr. Kenya you are no Jack Kennedy, you are more like Jack Hoff.
Obama = POS
So angry he had to read it off the teleprompter.FRAUD
Actually this can be pretty smart for the O’bummerr administration:
1. - show the “fake “ outrage and the “I am in charge”
stance.
2.- the “director” gets full benefits and gets to keep
working for the demonrats.
3. the director walks off the job- claims to not remember
anything- has no Memo’s,emails,papers- does not know
where anything is - because he is no longer incharge-
Hell, maybe claims he does not remember where he was
for the past few years-
4. All the rino’s can cluck- along with this administration
“MOVE ALONG”- “nothing to see here!”
“”Its inexcusable, and Americans are right to be angry about it, and I am angry about it,” he said. “I will not tolerate this kind of behavior in any agency, but especially in the IRS, given the power that it has and the reach that it has into all of our lives.”
You lying sack of dung..You gave the the order to do it..You are just angry you got caught..
I’M angry.
The IRS is not a democrat or republican entity. It is run by WHOEVER IS IN POWER at the time.
Darth Obama is behind it ALL.
I’m profoundly offended hearing him get up and say that HE is angry and will not tolerate this. It was HIS action. HE profits from this stuff, not the IRS. They were taking orders from their ‘boss’.
