I must have missed the pings- I’m looking after the Canada list.
I've heard about the phenomenon but never witnessed it. Here in Toronto the lake rarely freezes, but I've seen ice pile up around some of the rivers every spring. That is driven by the water flow, though, not by wind the way it happened in the Midwest.
I usually keep my ping list low volume. I usually don’t ping if it’s already on the PA sidebar.
I will ping upon request, for stuff I see that’s not on the PA bar, or a (rarest of all) stuff that I think is really really important.
