Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell tells Newsmax TV that the current scandal facing the Internal Revenue Service proves that the agency cannot be trusted to implement Obamacare.
"I dont think so," the Kentucky Republican says in an exclusive interview. "I dont think we ought to have Obamacare. We ought to pull it out root and branch, if we possibly can.
"And, certainly, the IRS part of administering Obamacare, particularly in the wake of this IRS scandal with regard to suppressing the views of Americans who were critical of the IRS, raises further suspicions about their involvement in the administration of Obamacare."
Obamacare has 47 separate provisions that involve the IRS. It is the second-largest agency, after the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, charged with implementing the Affordable Care Act.
The IRS has to implement Obamacares required purchase of health coverage, checking whether millions of Americans are in compliance.
Speaking to the current scandal embroiling the IRS, McConnell tells Newsmax that Congress would investigate the targeting of conservative groups "for as long as it takes to get the truth."

its true.....
a better argument is that we'll have civil war is this continues..
can't imagine too many men, even the men today, allowing their child or wife to die because of treatment denied...
I wonder how many Americans right now even know about this story? And when they find out will they call their state and federal politicans, write letters, emails?
The Democratic and the Republican parties cannot end their love affair with the IRS.
Sadly, the American populous loves being screwed by this kind of system.
If the American people continues to tolerate this kind of abuse it deserves it and whatever it drags along.
Since the new Obama right of free birth control might be lost, we are all stuck in this foolish situation.
