Update at 8:06 p.m., by Tristan Hallman: Tornado warning now in effect in Tarrant and Johnson counties.
Tornadoes have touched down in Pecan Plantation (a residential town near Granbury) and northeast of Decatur.
Update at 8 p.m., by Tristan Hallman: NWS reporting baseball-sized hail in Granbury not far from the towns high school.
Update at 7:43 p.m. by Tristan Hallman: A tornado has been spotted developing in Hood County near Lake Granbury, the National Weather Service reports. Granbury is in the storms path.
Update at 7:34 p.m., by Tristan Hallman: And then there were fewer: Hamilton, Mills, Montague, Parker and Wise counties are still under tornado warnings. Out is Palo Pinto.
Update at 7:27 p.m., by Tristan Hallman: Two tornadoes have been confirmed in Parker County, the National Weather Service reports. The larger of the two tornadoes could cross Interstate 20 around mile marker 409.
Update at 7:10 p.m., by Tristan Hallman: Comanche and Jack counties are no longer under tornado warnings.
But Hamilton, Mills, Montague, Palo Pinto, Parker and Wise counties still are.
Update at 7 p.m., by Tristan Hallman: Hail larger than golfballs is being reported in Millsap, located in Parker County.
Update at 6:30 p.m. by Tristan Hallman: Watches are quickly becoming warnings in some places. Comanche, Hamilton, Jack, Mills, Montague, Palo Pinto, Parker and Wise counties are all under tornado warnings.
There are also reports of hail pelting Mineral Wells.

OK here in Grand Prairie now. Sirens went off for a long time, but stopped a few minutes ago. Had a lot of rain and hail, but now the worst has headed off into Dallas. Still lots of bad weather east and southeast of here.
Yeah, they were just saying that that cell has re-tightened, so they upgraded the warning.

WBAP spotter on the ground in Oak Cliff saw a cloud to ground lightning strike that took out power to a whole city block.
Prayers are working folks..keep em coming. Rotation weaken near Cleburne.

The National Weather Service in Fort Worth has issued a Tornado Warning for: Central Dallas county in north central Texas.
Until 10:15 pm CDT.
At 9:30 pm CDT, National Weather Service meteorologists detected a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado near Cockrell Hill, moving east at 15 mph.
The Tornado will be near. Dallas around 10:05 pm CDT. Hutchins around 10:10 pm CDT. Balch Springs and Mesquite around 10:15 pm CDT. This will impact the following interstates. I-35e between mile markers 416 and 431. I-20 between mile markers 449 and 460. I-30 between mile markers 26 and 50. I-45 between mile markers 278 and 284.
Recommended actions
Move to an interior bathroom, closet, or hallway on the lowest floor of your building. Cover yourself with blankets, pillows, or a mattress for protection.
