Thats the revelation made by California Congressman Devin Nunes, who sits on the House Ways And Means Committee on Hugh Hewitts Show Wednesday night. Heres the key part of that transcript:
HH: The idea that this might be a Geithner-Axelrod plan, and by that, the sort of intimation, Henry II style, will no one rid me of this turbulent priest, will no one rid me of these turbulent Tea Parties, that might have just been a hint, a shift of an eyebrow, a change in the tone of voice. Thats going to take a long time to get to. I dont trust the Department of Justice on this. Do you, Congressman Nunes?
DN: No, I absolutely do not, especially after this wiretapping incident, essentially, of the House of Representative. I dont think people are focusing on the right thing when they talk about going after the AP reporters. The big problem that I see is that they actually tapped right where Im sitting right now, the Cloak Room.

A mole inside the Obama adminstraion bringing the whole administraion and Obama down with them ?
Mile-wide = F5. Austin’s had one of those, and the destruction was as unbelievable as Jarrell.
We have been in a Constitutional Crises since 2008.
Bonehead is one useless POS. Mark Levin rides Bonehead hard.
Well, it’s like when Hillary got hold of the FBI files, and all the prominent Republican politicians knew they could be blackmailed if they caused too much trouble. Any Republican who has said anything on the phone since 1/20/2009 that he doesn’t want to be public knowledge knows that the Obama administration can leak that information whenver it wants to.
We have a Freeper in the way of tornado right now...pray!!
I mean as bad as Joplin.

fReeper Claymore needs prayers right now.
I’m sure 0bozo was just so shocked to hear about this too /s
There is no justifiable reason other than becoming a dictator to do what he has been doing.
Its like we figured out what the Al Quada killers were up to before the struck, America this is a coup in progress.
You’re right, Climton’s people did that. That’s what I believed at the time.
I hope your hunch is correct. The contempt charge was a hot topic in May, 2012. Didn’t Issa bring that up today?
At any rate, perhaps it will give new legs to F & F.
Which means it is time to question why??? What is keeping the leadership from jumping on this golden opportunity? That just might be the real question that should be asked of the Rino's in charge.
No not they they picked up members of congress, all they did at the AP was get records of calls, but read what the congressman said, “The big problem that I see is that they actually tapped right where Im sitting right now, the Cloak Room.”
He is saying that they tapped the House Cloakroom.
My personal opinion is that the GOP is always more interested in using
scandals as a campaign issue than actually finding the truth and making
the hacks involved in these scandals pay a price. A price like jail time.
1. Phone records of AP reporters (and who knows what other reporters; we have no evidence that the AP was singled out) that happen to include conversations with Congressmen and -women. That's already 4 on a scale of five in terms of political impact and it's the least of the possibilities.
2. Phone records of Congresspeople. 5 of five, that one will get somebody prison time.
3. Actual taps of AP reporters' conversations. 6 of five, and national security won't save the perpetrators.
4. Actual taps of AP reporters' conversations with Congresspeople. 7 of five - that one will be a resignation or an impeachment. I note, however, that Democrats have already tapped Gingrich's phone and got away with it. They could be stupid enough to try it again.
5. There is another level but I don't think even 0bama, Holder, and Jarrett would go there and if they did God help them - actual taps specifically aimed at Congress. That's 10 of five, nuclear assault level. We'd have a new government out of that one.
It is probable that we are *only* talking phone records here, but if it goes up from there it's going to go up fantastically quickly. We'll see.
Apparently this now includes spying on Congress as well.
They sought the phone records after the fact. There was no way they could be tapped.
