On Saturday, we discovered that the IRS targeting of conservative groups didnt start in 2012 and wasnt limited to a few rogue low-level agents. Senior officials became aware of the practice at least as early as June 2011, including the top lawyer for the IRS. This is what community organizers do.
I have been quite vocal about this regime, through various channels, and the IRS has been paying particular attention to my returns for the last couple of years.

that said, I wont shut my mouth.
This is how Chicago politics works. Yeah, it’s ugly but it gets the job done. You make people offers they can’t refuse.

The FBI attended many of our meetings, including the First Tea Party Tax Day sign-up. They were at many of other gatherings.

You can put me on the harassment list. Not the audited list. Was assessed penalties over 10 large just because I filed paper work late. All taxes due had been paid. This was fall of 2011. They basically hit me with every possible penalty they could. Nothing generally sinister with that. However, the penalty letters arrived on a Friday via the mail. The date on each letter however was 4-5 days in the future. A date that just happened to be my birthday. Can not see any justifiable reason why the IRS would send out post dated letters.
The IRS just wanted to say happy birthday, I guess.
