“20 hours or so to get there.” I guess since it was “the middle of the night” the military would have to wait until the next business day to respond. God save us.

“it would take up to 20 hours to get them there”

So????

During the attack no one knew how long it would last. Hours? Days? Weeks?

If I call the cops or the fire department, are they going to say, “Gee, the burglar is already inside the house, or the house is already on fire, so let’s not bother going there because it would take up to 20 minutes to get there.”

What kind of stupid remark is that? How could he possibly know how long the attack would last? How could he possibly think that 20 hours would be too late? And most of all, how could he possibly justify not making an effort?

Demspey is a fool and a disgrace to the uniform of the USA.

And why weren’t aircraft on “strip alert” 24/7 (like the old days).Because, dumbass, the Middle East is in real turmoil and there might be a need for US aircraft to hit terrorist targets.

What an asskissing, Obama suck-off. Time for his to resign in disgrace. Hope Petraeus shows some guts and tells the whole truth. It’s his last chance to redeem himself.

Re: post 7, 48, 49:

**Assets that could have responded to Benghazi firefight**

MHGinTN (post 48, 49) has a link to a Nov 2012 video with Col Hunt and former Cia Mike Baker discussing (with map) what assets were available.

Recently, (May 10) Judge Jeanine had a 12 min show opening that has gone viral. After her opening, she introduced Col Hunt and Former Navy Seal Christopher Mark Heben (a friend of Woods and Doherty). They have new and specific info!!!

Video (3min) — Benghazi Attack Timeline Could Help Have Saved American Lives?
href=”https://www.youtube.com/watch?NR=1&feature=endscreen&v=-548jVAYxNk

After the commercial, the Judge had Col Hunt, Heben, and Mark Baker continue the discussion. Especially important is Hunt’s answer to the REFUELING “problem.”

Below is a rough transcript of BOTH parts of the interview. I’ve tried to correct the most important transcribing mistakes.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~`
With me is fox news military analyst, colonel david hunt who joins us from boston and former navy seal christopher who was friends and a seal with ty woods and glenn dougherty.
00:17:32 Colonel hunt, I’ll go to you first.
00:17:33 I’m going to assume that the 30 at night in benghazi and lasted eight hours.
00:17:39 I want you it assume the official washington response was the assets can’t get there in time.
00:17:44 What’s your reaction to that claim?
00:17:46 >> It’s preposterous, it’s aie and we had forces within two hours by jet and three hours by air that were in croatia, armed and ready to go.
00:17:59 >> How far is croatia from benghazi?
00:18:01 How long would that take?
00:18:02 >> It would take about three hours.
00:18:06 This is a force from Stuttgart called charlie 110.
00:18:11 They were armed and ready to respond to this kind of crisis.
00:18:15 >> Who was in Stuttgart, germany?
00:18:19 >> There was a squadron from delta force coming back from a mission en route and at Stuttgart.
00:18:24 They were a little bit farther away by four hours by air.
00:18:28 But they’re available.
00:18:29 >> Can you tell us, colonel, before I go to chris here, can you tell us what is the purpose of delta force?
00:18:36 What is it made up of and what is a c-110 group?
00:18:42 What’s that about.
00:18:43 >> Charlie 110 is called the in-extremis force. It was designed with about 40 special forces guys out of Stuttgart designed to fill the gap for the time it sakes seal team 6 or delta force to fly from the east coast to europe.
00:18:58 They were designed 15 years ago, ready to do what happened in benghazi.
00:19:01 All they needed was the order to go.
00:19:03 Delta force is the army’s seal team 6.
00:19:06 >> All right.
00:19:07 Chris, I’m going to ask you about delta force.
00:19:12 It’s your version of the seal team.
00:19:15 >> Absolutely.
00:19:16 You were a seal.
00:19:17 How long would it take a seal team, assuming they’re somewhere around here, to get together and get to benghazi?
00:19:22 >> When seals are in a combat theater, which anywhere in this area would be, we’re on what’s called Alert 30 or Alert 60, which means we are on a very short leash.
00:19:30 We can’t be within more than 30 to 60 minutes away from our gear and bags and weapons ready to go.
00:19:36 If we got the call to go, we would be on a plane within an hour flying there.
00:19:42 Two-hour flight time, hour or less response time, we’re on scene in less than three hours.
00:19:46 >> You were stationed where? — >> I’ve been in Sigonella, sicily, in Aviano Air Base; I’ve been In germany; I’ve been in croatia.
00:19:53 All of those places.
00:19:54 >> What’s the frustration level that there were no seal teams, no one was ordered to respond?
00:20:00 >> The frustration level is very high.
00:20:02 There were guys in the area; there were guys all over the place.
00:20:04 >> You know this for a fact?
00:20:06 >> I know this for a fact.
00:20:07 There was a SIF (??) team in tripoli that could have been there in 2 1/2 hours.
00:20:12 >> They got the order to stand down.
00:20:14 >> Colonel, chris, stand by.
**************************Commercial***********
I CAN FIND NO VIDEO for this part. I have tried to correct the transcript from Judge Jeanine’s program that I saved.
00:20:15 They kept ripping away the truth 12 times to get to a lie.
00:20:18 How long now to the truth?
00:23:37 >>> You all remember susan rice appearing on those five sunday talk shows pushing the violent protests over the despicable you-tube video lie.
00:23:47 We now know the white house and state department lied to us about the truth, also to the press.
00:23:53 Mistake.
00:23:54 With me now former cia operative mike baker.
00:23:57 Joins us from boise.
00:23:59 David hunt still with us from boston and christopher heben is still with us in new york.
00:24:05 Mike, right from the get-go, they threw the cia under the bus.
00:24:10 Do you feel exonerated?
00:24:14 >> Yeah.
00:24:16 Unhappily so.
00:24:16 You’d like to think that the white house has more honor than that.
00:24:20 We’ve been talking about, judge, on your show shortly since the attack occurred.
00:24:25 The white house, oddly enough, is in charge of the white house talking points, the points that they put together under their direction to explain their position on any particular matter.
00:24:34 They would like us to think somehow that the cia is driving that train or the state department now.
00:24:41 As if somehow the white house is nothing more than a mouthpiece.
00:24:45 You send over your talking points, we’ll read whatever you draft.
00:24:48 It’s an indication of this continuing contempt that the president has for the public and the belief that they can’t tell the difference between a load of crap and the truth.
00:24:57 >> That’s an interesting comment.
00:24:58 Colonel hunt, I’m going back to you.
*****00:24:59 One of the things that greg hicks said was that he was told that they couldn’t get an f-16 there because they didn’t have an air tanker to refuel.
00:25:07 What’s your thought on that?
00:25:08 >> It’s ridiculous on the face of it.
00:25:12 An F-16 takes off, it’s super sonic.
00:25:14 From aviano, italy, it leaves and they refuel in sicily and then into benghazi and the same thing coming back.
00:25:23 We’ve been in combat over 11 years.
00:25:25 This admistration for over four years.
00:25:26 We know how to go from point a to point b and kill something.
00:25:30 They were never given the order to do it.
00:25:33 >> Colonel, why didn’t they get that order to defend americans?
00:25:36 Why?
00:25:37 >> The only answer is political.
00:25:38 Again, the military is so well-trained.
00:25:40 Along with the intelligence service, after this much combat, it’s a political — I don’t know why the president didn’t get the order.
00:25:48 I just know he is the only one that can do it.
00:25:51 >> Martin dempsey, you know him, you worked with him.
00:25:54 Why would he say we couldn’t have gotten there in time?
00:25:58 >> It’s disingenuous at best and a lie at the worst.
00:26:01 I serve with marty as colonel.
00:26:04 Shows you how good my career was.
00:26:06 But the fact is that Marty knows better and everyone in special operations community and the air force who is in europe at that time know better.
00:26:12 >> Okay.
00:26:13 And mark, you lost two friends.
00:26:16 The seal community.
00:26:16 I mean, this is what you guys do.
00:26:20 What is the feeling in that community?
00:26:23 >> There’s a big feeling of frustration.
00:26:25 This is what we train for ; this is what we live for.
00:26:27 There were half a dozen or more hardcore ass-kicking government assets that could have been on scene within four hours.
00:26:36 Nobody, nobody got the call. i said it before.
00:26:38 I’ll say it again.
00:26:39 They let my buddies hang out up there on that rooftop like a set of dog balls, exposed without any support -—ridiculous.
00:26:44 >> Why do you think they did that?
00:26:46 >> As the colonel said, there’s got to be a political agenda at work here.
00:26:50 What they’re covering up, we’re not sure yet.
00:26:52 But it will come out at some point in time.
00:26:55 This administration reeks.
00:26:56 >> Mike baker, what about you, i mean, the cia community, I mean, what is their take on all of this after you hear from hicks and the whistle blowers who had so much on the line and willing to take it?
00:27:08 >> Right.
00:27:08 Well, there’s a lot of people right now that are very thankful for this week and what took place.
00:27:14 As you pointed out, also for a growing realization from the WH press corps, they’ve been lied to from the start.
00:27:21 That more than anything will continue this push and give us more traction.
00:27:25 The agency, they’ve got a long history of getting thrown under the bus.
00:27:28 That part they’re used to.
00:27:30 To show that they were very clear in their reporting, leading up to this attack, talking about the deteriorating security situation and all the problems taking place, Al Qaeda and Ansar AL Sharia,all of those difficulties, -—then to have those pulled out over a period of 12 different revisions and have the white house now try to pass off this idea that is was the agency and the state dept, like well we had nothing do with it.
00:27:53 They’re driving the train.
00:27:56 Colonel hunt, very quickly.
00:27:57 I mean, you know, what about all of the forces that were trained to get involved in this and emergencies.
00:28:04 I mean, some of them actually disobeyed orders and left from tripoli and went to benghazi in spite of what the president didn’t order.
00:28:13 Your take on that?
00:28:14 >> Yeah.
00:28:16 They did from tripoli, but they got stuck at the airport.
00:28:18 We have to remember, if it wasn’t for the cia at the base, more americans would have died.
00:28:25 They heroically fought their way down a mile and a mile back to save americans.
00:28:28 They did it on their own.
00:28:29 It was a small, very, very good force.
00:28:32 But the issue is we had other forces that also could have been there.
00:28:36 When this fight starts, nobody knows, as you said, it was going to last eight hours.
00:28:39 It could have lasted 24.
00:28:42 There is no excuse for what happened
00:28:42 >> All right, colonel hunt, mike and chris, thanks for being with us.
