Senator John McCain, who famously defended his then presidential opponent Barack Obama against an islamaphobic supporter during a 2008 campaign rally, defended President Obama once again on ABCs This Week Sunday, cautioning his Republicans colleagues to cool it with talk of impeaching the President over the Benghazi attacks and its aftermath.
In response to Senator James Inhofe (R-OK) invoking the I word, McCain called for caution:
With all due respect, I think this is a serious issue, McCain told guest host Martha Raddatz. I will even give the president the benefit of the doubt on some of these things. We need a select committee.
On how much blame former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton deserves, McCain was much less generous:
I think the Secretary of State has played a role in this she had to have been in the loop in some way, but we dont know for sure.
McCain next turned his ire on the now official 2016 Republican attack-ad on Clintons what difference does it make? outburst during her Benghazi hearing....

Since I live in Commiefornia, Ted Cruz is my “Honorary” Senior Senator.
Rand Paul is my “Honorary” Junior Senator, but he still needs to get a few things right in his mind.
There are a few others in the running, but most of them aren’t worth a Bucket full of Warm Spit.
Between Diana Frankenfeinstein and “dumb as a box of Barbara Boxers” Barbara Boxer, I am not Represented in the U.S. Senate.
If she has anything to be ashamed of it’s endorsing this moron for senate.
Just as Obama bows to our enemies, to show Americas subservience to them, McCain bows to Obama to show the GOP's subservience to him.
If McCain had any doubts, he could have kept his mouth shut. What a media whore he is.
The deaths of the 4 Americans at Benghazi is really a side issue. People should be held responsible for that but the real scandal is the gun running to Al Qaeda and the US/NATO covert war on Syria, which is killing thousands. McCain and the Establishment will use the American deaths as a smoke screen to cover-up the gun running. Hillary and even Obama is ultimately expendable and will be thrown under the bus if needed to protect the covert war. The select committee McCain is advocating is the usual D.C. method to cover-up or provide a limited hangout.
Since McCain ran interference for Obama on his Libyan expedition, the Senator probably wants to keep whatever our government was doing there a secret.
When all else fails, you can always rely on McCain to say something idiotic..OK Juan, you can go back to sucking on Obama’s toes now..don’t let these pesky murders keep you away from doing what you do best
His dilusions of power and “legacy”. I didn’t vote for him in the primary. I’m so tired of his “reaching across the aisle”. Heck, he’s standing on the other side of the aisle. (Most of the time)
Sarah Palin should be proud of running with McCain in ‘08 and ashamed of having backed his reelection on’10. She could merely have said she knows him to be a sterling man (barf, barf) and she might agree more with his opponent’s position on issues, so she’ll stay away from an endorsement.
His programming is getting buggy and needs the upgrade.
Every time I see your screen name, Johnny Rivers plays in my head. lol
Comprendo that “my friend”. (McShame reference) :)
> Is he senile, or what?
McCain didn’t just drink the Koolaid, he bought it by the gallons
Thank you “my friend”. :)
McCain was the Wendell Willkie of the 2008 election. That's saying a lot because the 1940 election had less legitimacy than a boxing match where both fighters were managed by Don King.
so McCain knows where Obama was during those 7 hours ,maybe he can tell everyone
Bingo! The sniveling little rino really only wants to protect his own culpability in this fiasco!
You can always count on Johnny Mac....
