At 5:20 in this Fox News video, it says: “October 16, 2012 [Susan Rice] Blames intelligence community talking points for the faulty narrative on Sunday news shows days after attack.”
Apparently Rice wants people to think that the CIA imagined the protest and video, and wrote her lines.

Anybody remember how 9/11 was Bush’ fault and Benghazi is nobody’s fault? Also, the leaking of the file clerk at the CIA went all the way to the top, yet nobody knows who gave the Stand Down order even though there is only one person who can give that order.
Only Obama could give that order and he was not sleeping, he was watching the Ambassador get murdered. He is the biggest coward to have ever occupied that desk.

The video CYA stuff all came from the beltway. Either Foggy Bottom or the NSC in the White House. The CIA and State people on the ground in Libya reported an attack.
For those like me who didn't recall who this Pickering guy is, this from the ARB Report:
"Four Board members were selected by the Secretary of State and one member from the intelligence community (IC) was selected by the Director for National Intelligence. Ambassador Thomas R. Pickering served as Chairman, with Admiral Michael Mullen as Vice Chairman. Additional members were Catherine Bertini, Richard Shinnick, and Hugh Turner, who represented the IC."

No one in the military chain of command had ordered a mission to Benghazi so in the sense you mean it there was no order to stand down. Someone in the military chain of command did, however,order those troops not to go. We really need to find out who that was and if that person was acting on orders from higher. We need to subpoena Gen Ham, and for other reasons, Gen Petraeus. I also find it curious that both have since lost their positions.
I worked for more than 20 years in political Washington, which is another way of saying I’ve known a lot of vile, self-serving excuses for human beings in my time—but I’m not sure ANY of them could have done what Obama, Rodham, Panetta et al did in the presence of those coffins that day.
To me, it marks an all-time low in American public life.

Whoever ordered the military to not send help is who is finally at fault. It had to be Obama or the Seals would have been there and likely nobody dying.
They absolutely did from minute one. Hillary’s chief of staff confirmed as much the next day in emails. My guess is Victoria Nuland is the author of this particular lie, but they were all complicit in promulgating the false narrative—Obama, Clinton, Rice, Carney.

Hicks said the forces were pissed they could not go when they were a half hour away to break it up. Everyone knows who made the order and he was not sleeping in his warm bed. He was watching and cowering then making up the America’s fault excuse.
Dempsey is not technically in the chain of command but Panetta relied heavily on his Joint Chiefs. My suspicion is Dempsey advised that the situation did not justify military intervention and Panetta never elevated it to the President. I am confident that Obama had made it clear to Panetta that he wanted “plausable deniability” if anything went south. I do not trust Demsey any more than I trusted Mullen.
Brilliant as usual buddy and the revamping of the media is under way and gathering speed. Its called the New Media and we are quickly taking the place of the old commie media appropriately named the drivebys.
To compound the regimes lies/coverups jay carney tried to spin/lie, axelrod style no doubt, the 12 talking points changes(scrubbings) inferring that the changes were not made by the regime thus throwing the fired Petraeus under the bus. Good luck with that one.

Pickering will defend the State Department no matter what it takes. He is the last person who should chair such an investigation. You are putting the fox in charge of the hen house.
