It's a good bet the Transportation Safety Board of Canada has never investigated such a bizarre air accident.
On Friday, an airborne car crashed near Ellison Elementary School in Vernon, B.C., after the parachute it uses to stay afloat collapsed.
The pilot and a passenger were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, the RCMP told Global News.
The Maverick LSA Flying Car was made in the Florida by I-TEC and is certified by the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration.
On its site, I-TEC says the powered parachute's "design has been developed as an easy-to-operate air, land, and snow craft. It is intuitive and safe to fly, drive and maintain by people in frontier areas of the world enabling them to use this unique vehicle in missions and humanitarian applications."
More like a flying Waring blender than a flying car.
” Because, its not my fault.”
Nope, not your falt.
Add to that, the Team America Limo:
But the ULTIMATE in flying cars:
Dangit...
I love the gyrocopter sequence from that old Bond film! :-)
“And it feeds off the fears of children!”
Fender bender at 6000 feet.
Well officer, I was on my way to a business meeting
when this dizzy bimbo started throwing her flyin car
all over the sky...
Ma’am, do you have any thing to say?
Officer I, oh my you ARE handsome. I was on my
way to pick up the kids from school when this bee
flew in the window, I did a quick split S then an
Immelman and got him out but by then my mascara had
run so I had to redo it, I don’t know where HE came from
but I know he was speeding...
It’s just an abbreviation like the states have abbreviations. I live in AB, short for Alberta.
Pretty funny stuff though, someone obviously has more money than brains heh.
Who writes these headlines anyway?

I know.
But still, the ehadline when read can be taken the wrong way.
Making some cavemen wonder mightily what the gods are up to.
Bush’s Fault or Operator Error, take your pick.
I’ve been waiting my whole life for a car like George Jetsons.
Strickly speaking not a car, but I do prefer “Little Lelly”:
Actually I think it was Little Nellie.
Coincidences are???? I just finished watching a TV documentary about flying cars and their development. This one is one of those. The CEO of the company said they sold 7 last year and the cost was $90,000.00 USD. He said they were hoping to get production adn sales up to about 100/yr this year.
An epidemic of a sorts, right?
And they waited how long to investigate it?
B.C. to A.D.? /kidding
At least it wasn’t flying SUV’s.
[Of course, it could have been glitches from, say, GTA 3 where cars randomly fly from nowhere at you.]
Typos, again...
