Actually, an appointed Senate would mean Agenda 21 passes with ease....getting the required 2/3 vote would be no problem. Most state governors support part or all of the UN agenda..... any one supporting globalism, open borders, free trade, high income taxes, are going to support the UN Agenda....they would be picking the Senators

A Senate that must answer to their electorate is less likely to push soverignity robbing crap like Agenda 21...voters are less globalist than politicians

Well, we disagree. IMO the Framers got it right, with power first divided between the feds and States. This vertical separation of powers guaranteed a division of interests, as James Madison described and regarded as the first guarantee of our rights.

As it stands since the 17th, there is no difference between the constituent interests of the House and Senate. The Senate is just another home to populist demagogues who only care about satisfying the whims of the mob. Why bother having a second house of Congress responsible to the "gimme" demands of the sheeple?

No, there is resistance in the air, as typified by the Missouri legislature, the AZ legislature and the 26 States that took Obamacare to court. None of this would have been necessary if we had a Senate of the States.
