Congresswoman and former United States Ambassador to Luxembourg Ann Wagner (R-MO) appeared on The Dana Loesch show and placed the blame, of the stand down order to those that could have offered assistance to Americans under attack, on none other than Barack Obama.
Loesch asked Wagner, “Because you have been an ambassador, you have been overseas with similar responsibilities and similar missions – who gives such an order to stand down? Where does that come from?”
“The President of the United States,” the Missouri congresswoman affirmed.
As top diplomat in Libya Gregory Hicks testified to on Wednesday before the House Oversight Committee, “The Libyans that I talked to, and the Libyans and other Americans who were involved in the war have told me also, that Libyan revolutionaries were very cognizant of the impact that American and NATO airpower had with respect to their victory.”
“They are under no illusions that American and NATO airpower won that war for them,” Hicks continued. “And so, in my personal opinion, a fast mover flying over Benghazi at some point, you know, as soon as possible might very well have prevented some of the bad things that happened that night.”
He went on to add, “if we had been able to scramble a fighter or aircraft or two over Benghazi as quickly as possible after the attack commenced” — around 9:30 that night — “I believe there would not have been a mortar attack on the annex in the morning because I believe the Libyans would have split. They would have been scared to death that we would have gotten a laser on them and killed them.”
In fact, Hicks suggested that the Libyans would have granted the US permission to fly their planes directly over their airspace. “If we had been able to scramble a fighter or aircraft or two over Benghazi as quickly as possible after the attack commenced. I believe there would not have been a mortar attack on the annex in the morning because I believe the Libyans would have split. They would have been scared to death that we would have gotten a laser on them and killed them.”
Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA) said that personnel “may not have arrived in time to save lives, but at the time the decision was made, the decision was wrong.”
Representative Jason Chaffetz (R-UT), a member of the committee also said that “military personnel were ready willing and able, and within proximity, but the Pentagon told them they had no authority and to stand down.”
I wrote back at the end of October of the reports coming out that there were calls for “military support and help because they were taking fire at the CIA safe house, or annex. The request was denied. There were no communications problems at the annex, according those present at the compound. The team was in constant radio contact with their headquarters. In fact, at least one member of the team was on the roof of the annex manning a heavy machine gun when mortars were fired at the CIA compound. The security officer had a laser on the target that was firing and repeatedly requested back-up support from a Spectre gunship, which is commonly used by U.S. Special Operations forces to provide support to Special Operations teams on the ground involved in intense firefights.”
We know from testimony this week that Defense Secretary Leon Panetta’s statement that “The U.S. military did not get involved during the attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, Libya, last month because officials did not have enough information about what was going on before the attack was over” was not true. They did know. They knew in real time. There was no way they would not have known, but Panetta testified that Obama was simply absent on the night of the Benghazi attacks. In fact, the White House received several emails indicating what was going on and yet Obama would not authorize any help.
While Chris Stevens was appointed as a diplomat to Libya in 2007 under President George W. Bush, he was named ambassador under Barack Obama. Now stop and think about that for a moment. If Obama will just let one of his appointees, a U.S. ambassador, die at the hands of Islamists, how much do you think he cares about American citizens? I’m guessing not too much.

Question comes down to is Hillary willing to take the fall for him? What do the Dems want, blame Obama so Hillary is open to run in 2016 or save Obama, blame Hillary, and take the chance on her losing in 2016?
The lie that they could not tell for sure what was going on that night was just that. A LIE, and a big one, at that. When you think that FOX news was showing scenes that were pretty descriptive of the activities going an, when you read the testimony of the woman in the situation room that night (in DC) you KNOW that they CANNOT say they didn’t have enough information.
We lived in the Stuttgart, Germany, area and for almost 20 years, so we were pretty well aware of the kinds of things that are directed from there, and when we left, AFRICOM, EUCOM, , etc were all located there. We know how things happen and what has to take place. When the lies started it was just unbelievable! We also lived in Turkey 6 years so we were familiar with the bases in that region. To say that there was nothing locally to scramble was just nonsense. I never believed it for a minute!
I can understand the news agencies having misinformation on situations. We were in Turkey during the first Gulf War, and were evacuated. While still there, we were watching the “news” about the buildup to the war...all the reporters were outside our base there. What was reported was about as far from t he truth as to be ridiculous. When we arrived stateside and took residence on the coast where we could find furnished housing, the kids were entered into local middle and HS where we were. The kids at these schools fathers were all being deployed to where we just left. Our kids were able to set them straight on what the real situation was.
But, this was not the same. We could see what was happening from those real-time videos. This was not a pack of reporters at a gate trying to ascertain what was going on inside. From the videos, it was apparent that we were seeing the activities going on inside in real time. I do not accept the lies from Panetta, Clinton, Obama, Rice, etc. This was pure fabrication, the testimony they gave. This to obstruct justice and deceive. It is purposeful, not accidental, making it perjury. We need to ask that they all be sued for false testimony and willful perjury, then sue for impeachment on the basis of dereliction of duty.
“But why”
Well, that is the real question isn’t it?
I think it is pretty apparent. It would have hurt Obama’s chances in the election if we had bombed terrorists. And there is no way they could have bombed “protesters”.
There is no doubt the whole thing revolved around politics.
There is NO DOUBT.
It’s kinda funny, no sad really, that the MSM is just now picking up on this. We here have known from the start that this whole thing was a political cover up. And, once again, we were called “conspiracy theorist”. And, still are by many.
From what I just saw (I just got home from work), the White House so called “press corp” half-way gave Carney the business. I bet Obama is about to crap his pants. But, if things follow to form, the MSM will come back to their senses and provide cover to the administration in 5..4..3..2..
Oh, BTW, anyone heard anything about Fast and Furious lately?

Wasn’t there a concern the terrorists would use the surface to air shoulder fired missiles, dropping any support out of the sky? Also Russia/Iran, were reported to have had a hand in the intel pre attack, so again assets in the hands of the attackers posed a creditable threat to sending in some facets of support. If a few agencies were at risk, would sending in others throw up a red flag? I’m not failure with what assets would have been used, and what first responders in such a crisis posses. If someone could list the agencies that would respond, and what hardware they would use, I would appreciate it deeply.
Anyone with any integrity would have opposed Obama in 2008 and for sure in 2012. We all know who and what Obama was and is. And those who foisted him upon us did, as well; or should have, with even the slightest attempt at attention. So, my friends, remember who put Obama and his ilk in power, for THEY are repsonsible. Remember them. And hold them accountable.
Perhaps Barry and Reggie were...well...occupied.
