WH Press Briefing for today has been pushed back over an hour already.
Smelling quite a bit of panic.
..and with pressure building, the dam breaks.
Simply a mistake. It can happen to even the most ardent admirers of Obama.
I would expect ABC to backtrack and not make this sort of error again, in the near future.
Translation:
ABC News awaiting new talking points from WH to repeat as unimpeachable fact, for sure this time.

After Scrubbing = Ben Vareen is starring in a controversial video.
I think a few of the mainstream media are beginning to ask themselves (to paraphrase Kerry):
Do I want my career to be the last one to die for Obama?”
They are only investigating half of the lie.
Lie #1) Scrubbing mention of Islamists and Al Qeaeda
Lie #2) Blame it on an obscure video
Who decided to blame it on a video?
Who convinced the POTUS, the SoS and their staff that they were going to go with the vieo lie?
Who decided to spend money on advertising in Pakistan to promote the lie?
Who helped the POTUS carefully parse his words in his speech to the UN?
Who made the call to local law enforcement to roust the video maker out of bed at 2am?
Note that the first paragraph of the original contains the following:
"We believe based on currently available information that the attacks in Benghazi were spontaneously inspired by the protests at the U.S. Embassy in Cairo and evolved into a direct assault against the U.S. Consulate and subsequently its annex."
That sentence skated through the edit cycle essentially and perhaps completely unscathed. And, you should note, it is pretty soft. There is no question that it left an opening for Hillary to stick in the YouTube reference.
But I have a problem with ABC's Draft #1 which includes that sentence. If you look at the text at the link you will notice that the ABC First Draft is relatively short. Previous images of the original (Hannity? Steve Hayes?) that I have seen show a much longer original Draft. So I'm confused.
Do we really know that ABC has given us all of the Drafts? Was that weasel-worded sentence really in the First Draft? I wonder.
Anyone wanting on or off this ping list, please advise.
So has the regime started investigating ABC yet?
The fact that a News Organization gets a headline WHEN THEY ACTUALLY DO THEIR JOB is an indication of how far we have fallen.

Apparently the media now wants a witch hunt for some lazy clerical typist, omitting text so they might sooner take a smoke break.
To summarize what Limbaugh has been saying for days:
At about 5pm eastern time in Washington, we’re told that Obama met separately with Hillary Clinton and Leon Panetta telling each they needed to handle the attack in Benghazi.
Neither Hillary Clinton nor Panetta had the authority to order the military into action. And, conversely, neither could legally order the military to “stand down” during an attack on sovereign territory.
Obama’s whereabouts after 5 pm are undocumented. We are to believe Obama was having fish tacos and watching TV...while a terrorist attack was occurring on the 10 year anniversary of 9-11.
How dare they?
I wonder how long before Jon Karl is doing the classic hostage video.
Anyone here remember when Honesty and Integrity were hallmarks of the News Industry - well neither do I but at least they tried to hide it better...
Death is a part of life, what difference does it make? Nothing to see here, move along.
I would just caution not to be too excited about this from ABC.
The emails are a distraction. They are a bit of evidence, not the truth we need to know about Benghazi.
The emails don’t reflect that answers we need to get to the truth. Evidence yes, but ABC is using them as a distraction for the regime.
Leak the 12 changed documents, media focus is on who changed the talking points....not on who left Americans to die in Benghazi!
ABC is toeing the line here for the regime. They are hoping after this leak and the media circus on these talking points...this will be able to be put to bed.
And we still won’t know who gave the ‘stand down’ order to leave Americans to die in Benghazi or why those boots were not ordered in there to secure American assets, evidence or interests. Understand they’re blaming the Libyan President for the delay...uh....where was our President in demanding our troops get in there? Those assets used to protect our interests should have been there...Libyan President be damned.
The ABC report on the talking points is a regime orchestrated distraction designed to deflect attention from the President. The person who changed the talking points isn’t the one who gave the order to ‘stand down’ and then failed to further secure our interests for days after the attack. ABC will get to the bottom of who changed the talking points, someone will take the fall for it, and then the media will be done Benghazi matter.
And we still won’t have the answers Americans deserve.
