Morning Joe kicked off Fridays show with a discussion about Benghazi that spanned from the RNCs unaired attack ad to this mornings report about the edits to the talking points. A few of the guests were skeptical about how lasting an effect the issue will have on Hillary Clinton but Joe Scarborough hypothesized wed all have been harder on the administration if the far right hadnt overplayed their hand.
The segment opened with the attack, which used Clintons own 2008 3 a.m. phone call ad against her by meshing it with Benghazi footage and stating, The call came. Bloomberg Views Al Hunt, didnt think much of it though. If that is the best they got, he remarked, I wouldnt worry a whole lot if I was Hillary.
Later in the discussion, Cokie Roberts brought up the report about the talking points ABC News reported they were revised 12 times, which included scrubbing a terror reference at the request of the State Department spokesperson and Scarborough agreed that things dont look good. But, he asked, as the panel agreed that the White House and State Department bungled this issue from the start, how much mileage can the Republicans get from this?
At the end of the day, Scarborough later jumped in, This has the DNA of a Clinton scandal more than it does an Obama scandal, does it not?
Scandal is a strong word, Roberts replied, to which Scarborough asked, What is a couple notches below a scandal? Kerfuffle? Four people are dead.(continued)

Far Right overplayed their hand?
Like...Mitt mentioned it? Once?
“They couldn’t care less about those four dead people, it’s all about Barack and Hillary and the power they want.”
Exactly.
And Scarborough has gone from being the MSNBC token “conservative” to being a Chris Matthews wanna be.
I wish God delivers to Joe Scarborough all that he deserves.
The hand is still being dealt.
You are right.
The 4 dead men mean nothing to them.
2ndDivisionVet, you are spot on!

Scarborough: "I'm rough, I'm tough, hold me back, hold me back. Grrrrr Grrrrr Grrrrr."
I agree with your description of Scarborough. You can always tell someone’s real political feelings if they describe the other side as “far right”, but never seem to mention the “far left” as if it doesn’t exist! Meanwhile, it currently runs the country!
How many pieces of silver does it take to buy a mourning schmo?
God what a dead woman in office assclown
They keep trying to reduce it to politics. Sorry guys, it’s a legal issue: misfeasance, malfeasance and nonfeasance of duty.
This is all about the liberal continuation of POWER,
the continuity of liberal CONTROL over the reins
of government.
Four dead Americans are just a bump in the road
to them.
Despite Joe’s further comments and his historical record of being an irrational, idiotic lying liberal, his last couple of day’s even taking the time to mention the hearings is not a trivial thing.
On the one hand, it might tell me the big-boy three letter news organizations who DON’T DARE COVER BENGHAZI [lest wrath of Obama is incurred] assigned the task of ‘floating talking-point balloons to the cable outlets. Throw the potential list of excuses to what, say, a couple hundred thou’ to maybe even a MIL viewers? It tells them whether to ‘go on record’ of even reporting it.
The other hand might tell me Ole Joe maybe has a hint of scruples that gnawed at him to at least mention the possiblity of a Democrat being at fault.
Rush talking about this story right now.
I wonder how long he'll continue to whore himself out for this gig at MSNBC?
Rush responding to this now.
They let them die, and then lied over their coffins, as Steyn said.
We need to start excommunicating so called “Re-pube-i-can’t”s from the party and force them to join the democrap party...
Whatever that number, it’s been exceeded.
