In the real world, when you cover up four murders after the fact, you likely go to jail. In government, you retire with dignity and run for president with full media support.
Up until yesterday, that was the Benghazi scenario following the death of four Americans including our ambassador to Libya.
The Obama administration has lied, stonewalled, bullied, and intimidated – the true marks of an open and transparent administration. And, with a few notable exceptions, the American media haven’t just let them get away it. Heck, they’ve helped.
Hill testimony of State Department whistleblowers might change that, but it’s doubtful given the one-sided reporting so far.
NBC said there was an “obvious political undercurrent” to the hearings and accused the GOP of going after the “most popular Democrat,” Hillary Clinton.
The New York Times public editor criticized her own paper’s Benghazi coverage and The Washington Post’s Twitter account inexplicably mocked those Tweeting about the case as “Chick-fil-A lovers.” AP even called it a “GOP” hearing, to make sure readers saw it as partisan.

You CAN’T trust the main stream media. They’re goal is to protect Obama first, deliver their tainted version of the news second. What a joke they are, and more people are discovering that.
You would think that the NY Times would be outraged about a gay ambassador in Libya being raped and sodomized by Al Qaeda terrorists before being murdered and paraded dead through the streets.
I LOL’d yesterday when Liar Representative Cummings told his lie about a “full court press” of press coverage exaggerating the importance of the Benghazi murders and coverup.
That doesn’t matter.
The only thing that matters is democrat power.
If Fox news didn’t exist we would never have learned about the Boston Marathon Bombings.
They would have been reported as : restaurant appliance malfunctions due to improper use.
I rather suggest that is not just democrat power but the communists democrat power. Our Federal Government is saturated with hard core communists and they have control. It's called King Obama and his empire.
there is no more “media” in this country..watch the state run media in North Korea to get an idea what is going on here..they are SO desperate to protect Obama they will protect him no matter what he does and that is truly scary..he’s already gotten away with murder, what more can he do that the media will turn a blind eye..that is the question and that is what I most fear..Obama is so cocky because he owns 90 percent of the media..he can do whatever he wants without fear of being called out on it

The third: Spinning all negative consequences of the previous two objectives into the lap of Republicans, castigating them as "racist" or "radical."
Yet nothing said about Carol Maloney's rant about "attacking" Clinton, or Elijah Cummings' ramble about "Republicans cutting funds for security overseas."
Two things would very quickly get this country back on track: 1) An informed, interested populace who understands the issues; and 2) An uncorrupted media reporters who will present unbiased information without sliding into "interpretive analysis."
But I don't think those are in the cards.
Fair enough.
I fear that the communists democrat power also includes a good number of republicans.
