Nine days after Tebow was released by the New York Jets, it has become increasingly clear that the ultra-popular quarterback who has hijacked many a news cycle has no viable landing spot. No NFL team seems to want him as a starter, backup, converted H-back or fake-punt decoy and it's not like he's fending off big-money offers from Canada, either. Now, here's the interesting part: Tebowmania is at least partly to blame.

If he is refusing to take a non-QB position, then his own pride is his real enemy. It’s not for the player to tell the team how he’s going to be used.
Okay, you're crazy.
Yup. All he did in Denver was take a 1-6 team to the playoffs. Elway just couldn’t stand the reminder of what a moral piece of filth he really is. Oh - and the vaunted Peyton Manning? First game loss in the playoffs same as Tebow.
No way. A source said today Belichick ‘hates Tebow as a player’.
Nevermind that there are convicts, wife beaters, dog killers and drug addicts in the NFL. Not more than 15 years ago, a man of Tebow's character would have been applauded.
But when we have a full on attack of traditional values by the media, style over substance prevails. Even more sad is men of seemingly high character such as Tony Dungy and Kurt Warner, professed Christian men, telling everyone that Tebow needs to dial it down a notch when it comes to his Faith.
We have lost our way in this country.
And make no mistake: Tim Tebow has been Palined.
Why should he apologize for his faith and keep it quiet? Do hide the one thing that makes you glorious?
If it was all about wins, Tebow would have a job.
The media created the circus, not Tebow.
If everyone told you were blue, even though you know for a fact you're green, would you listen to everyone and let them define you, or go with what you know yourself to be?
“7- 4 record as starter, better than many”
He was like a baseball pitcher who was 7-4 with a 7.50 ERA. Don’t tell me “his job was to win games.” His job was to play the quarterback position well. It’s the team’s job to win games, and they managed to do so despite their QB’s performance.
I’m not saying Tebow can’t be a good QB, but he wasn’t one that year.
Well the same team went 1 - 6 until he took over.
hmmmmmm
Don’t let your hate make you blind.
“Like Eric Crouch?”
He was a triple-option quarterback. Compare his college passing stats with Tebow’s - especially completion percentage. They aren’t close.
“Or Jason White?”
Had to take all snaps from shotgun because his knees didn’t allow him to drop back.
“Chris Weinke?”
Graduated at age 28 (or thereabouts.) He played a few years in the NFL.
Belichick is a genius and his comments on Tebow are designed to throw competing teams away AND lower the price to obtain Tebow.
“Belichick is a genius”
Belichick is a cheater who should have been banned from coaching, and who’s team should have been stripped of a title or three. The NFL’s failure to adequately punish him is a travesty.
It would seem contrary to what he’s said about Tebow previously.
Although I love his faith, he's really not that good a quarterback. If he were an Aaron Rodgers, they teams would be beating down his door.
“Homosexuals are very popular in this country right now.”
But Catholics, Protestants, Orthodox Christians, and Jews like myself who didn’t sell out to the secular progressive crap-ola are treated like enemies of the state.
(No, I didn’t forget a certain “religion”. Give ya big ol’ block of government cheese if you can guess what “religion” I’m talking about.)
All Heisman winners. All NFL flame-outs.
