A schoolgirl was told off by police for drawing a hopscotch grid on the pavement, according to her father.
Officers even warned the 10-year-old she might have committed criminal damage as she played the traditional game outside her house in Ramsgate, Kent.
The angry father has lodged a complaint with Kent Police about their heavy-handed behavior.
Authorities are now investigating the incident, and admit that the officers may have gone too far when they accused Lilly of committing a crime.

While I strongly disagree with your statement, you do take really nice pics.
Charge the young perp with “being-too-cute-a-moppet” and throw the book at her.

yeah those laughing happy children are a bane on our society. much better to keep them locked up inside where they can’t be seen or heard.
Gives us more time to figure out why our kids are a such a mess.
No flames needed, you’re already in hell. Your own personal hell.
Not one person in any of his pictures.
Just another example of the left calling the wicked good and the good wicked.
All that is not mandatory is forbidden.
did they shoot her puppy?
Been going on for decades, no harm so far. What’s your beef, that there are children in the world?
So, you’re the old fart that scream and hollers at children. I think Medicare does more harm to the world than chalk ever has and should be stopped .
...oh, yeah...and just why isn’t she wearing a chadoor???? To the reeducation camp!
I'll add a picture of you if you like.
Btw, all of you are wrong on this issue.
lol what is the statutory limit for chalk on a sidewalk?
BTW, it’s fine to not want chalk on your sidewalk - and it would be marginally less preposterous - but i suppose most people here would not be upset like this about a grumpy old fart asking a parent to prevent the child from drawing on the sidewalk.
I think that is a more acceptable response.
What people are upset about is cops telling a little child she’s broken the law/acted illegally/damaged property.
That’s just nuts.
There, I posted a pic of myself. :)
If the parents can afford the chalk, they can afford the fine. They could pull
the carpet from their floor and let the kid draw there.
That would be acceptable.
Nonsense. All you need to do is get the safe food handling certificate, and a building permit, and pass the building and restaurant inspections, and conform to all the zoning and set-back requirements, and pay taxes and kickbacks, and ...
Nipped that hardened criminal in the bud, they did.
i think what is acceptable to you is, well, kind of unique to you.
would you think it acceptable to cut off the child’s hands so she could no longer offend your sensibilities?
How about having the cops [or the offended neighbor - if there is one] ask the parents to prevent their child from drawing on the sidewalk anymore?
just damn
Good grief. You've found me out!
