Let’s see if the proceedings actually bring about justice, or if it will further increase the cynicism of the American public about how much their government will lie to them.
Unfortunately neither - as the media has adopted the Democrats mantra that nothing new came from the hearing and are refusing to report it. Justice would require,ultimately, impeachment of the President and firing of all involved in the derelection of duty and resultant coverup. The House may impeach, this Senate will never convict. And the American people aren’t hearing anything - I was appalled to open this morning’s Cincinnati Enquirer and find not one story - no report of any kind - regarding the hearing and the revelations reported in this article.
I’d initially thought these hearings would uncover a revelation of such scandalous magnitude that might burst through the mind-numbed stupor of ordinary Americans. While it was clear the dark side attempted to keep a cap on this to continue the false narrative al-Qaida had been defeated, I didn’t hear anything yesterday that the Obamedia won’t easily bat away. In the end, after a few days of hyper-spin from the propagandists, the sheep will merely pause to momentarily attribute the whole mess to government inefficiency, utter a mildly plaintive bleat, then resume grazing.
I am very pessimistic that these hearings will do anything.
What did fast and Furious accomplish?
There will be no justice subsequent to this horrific episode of willful abandonment by Obama and the State Department.
1. Obama will never be seriously held accountable because of his skin color.
2. Both he and Hillary will be protected by the media at all costs.
Hilary will run for POTUS and from her cattle futures scam through the cleaning of Vince Foster's office and up to Benghazi her past will be covered just as Obama's has been. It is time for the media to take the beating they deserve, but we all know that ain't gonna happen. When the going gets tough they just give themselves awards.
