They are not immigrants. That is not a technicality. They are American Citizens even if they where born in Puerto Rico.

Puerto Rico is an American territory. Besides these guy may have been born here. They are simply of Puerto Rican decent. No different that a person whose parents moved here from Germany or Ireland.

This has nothing to do with race.

Information coming out says that they were born here, and that their father was from Puerto Rico.

Be that as it may, my comment related to the fact that, just because Puerto Rico is technically a part of the U.S., and its citizens are Americans, they're actually from a different culture than what exists on the mainland.

I don't mean that to be a slam on people who are from there. There are areas within the borders of the Lower 48 states that also qualify for that distinction.
