Gina DeJesus, 23, Michelle Knight, 30, and Amanda Berry, 26 , and her six-year-old daughter fled the house in Cleveland, Ohio.
Ariel Castro, 52, and his two brothers have been arrested.
Frantic Amanda choked back tears as she told police “I’m free” after she escaped the dungeon.
Amanda fled the hell-hole thanks to a hero neighbour before her dramatic 911 call ended the victims’ ordeal .
It had been feared that Amanda and the other captives – Gina DeJesus and Michelle Knight – had been murdered.
After escaping the house on Monday just three miles from where they each went missing between 2002 and 2004, they named their captor as 52-year-old Ariel Castro, who tonight was in custody with his two brothers.
The women, aged between 14 and 22 when they disappeared, spent today in hospital before being given the all-clear by doctors and returning to their overwhelmed families.
Amanda, now 26, was joined by her six-year-old daughter – who she gave birth to during the years in the dungeon – as she hugged her weeping relatives.
Chilling details began to emerge tonight of how the victims were held captive in a basement dungeon.
Police sources said suspect Ariel Castro kept Michelle, Amanda and Gina tied up with chains and tape at the home in Cleveland, Ohio.
The insider said they were kept in different rooms and were possibly untied at different times.
Officers also revealed the three women had “multiple” pregnancies.
There was evidence of as many as five children being born while the women were held hostage.
One of the victims suffered as many as three miscarriages because she was so malnourished.
Reports also told how the women were beaten so badly they lost other babies.
Police were today seen examining dug up areas in the back garden.

Puerto Rico is part of the US, they are US citizens there I believe.
Very interesting — sounds like it might be another manifestation of politics and political correctness infecting every aspect of life. After all, who wants Puerto Rico associated with a pervert kidnapper, so somebody able to cross a police line at a very active crime scene changed the flag. I wonder who placed the call which lead to the flag swapping.

Reports quoting the girls indicate that they left the house only twice in ten years. Both times they were taken to the garage.
Also, the police claim to have no record of this report.

The brothers, btw, are gutter-level alcoholics, and when I first read about them, I wondered how they could have carried this off. Interesting.
This has nothing to do with Puerto Rico. Look up the Dugard kidnapping, the English and German long-term kidnappings, and the Elizabeth Smart kidnapping. Sexual psychopaths are sexual psychopaths.
And now I’m reading that this guy’s brothers, two burned-out alkies, had nothing to do with this and it was all psycho Ariel.
Admit it, there is an ethnic component to the Puerto Rican flag that does not exist in, say the New Jersey state flag or the Florida state flag.
And why the odd behavior of the switch? The brothers were cooling their heels in jail during the switch. Who made the switch? And why?

Local news reports state that of the two brothers not charged, one is on Social Security, and the other is on disability.
The brother charged for the crimes was a school bus driver until he was fired last winter for workplace violations.
Hope they are right. One never does it alone. Especially not for all these years.

Now CNN is reporting that another younger guy - “Angel Cordera” (Latino who does not speak English) actually did all the stuff - (kicked in the door and got the girl out)and that “Charlie the Crazy Dishwasher” is a liar and took credit for stuff he didn’t do - and that he only got involved once the action” was pretty much over.
Angel’s relative says Charlie was just being opportunistic and the press jumped on him cause he can (sorta) speak English.

They are not immigrants. They are American Citizens their parents are from Puerto Rico and are American Citizens by birth. Puerto Ricons are American Citizens, just like people who live in Guam.
Also, only the owner of the home is now in custody. Their isn't any proof that the two other brothers had anything to do with the kidnappings. They have been released due to lack of evidence.
