Oh,and
now she truly can say
“dear God in Heaven” while waving around that jewelry.
Nos she’s Old and Resting
Saw her in an old episode of “Highway Patrol” not too long ago. She used to be in everything. Usually as a villainess, due to her somewhat harsh facial features, which were ready-made for ‘hard-bitten’ dame roles. But she was always good and made for a welcome presence.
You could tell she wasn’t feeling well on the show. God bless her. RIP Jeanne and thank you.
Back in the 70’s, I had to work shift work for a few months. I was going thru the channels and stopped on Y&R, because of Jill, “Brenda Dickerson”. I was hooked until I went back to the regular shift.
Wow. Grew up watching her. RIP.
We’ve enjoyed her character for many years.
This might have been her last scene:

RIP Jeanne Cooper.
She was a little long in the tooth for such a scene in those days. But so was Kirk Douglas!
She was in old westerns also, usually playing a “bar maid”! lol
My wife still watches Y&R every day. I catch some of it. Just loved her scenes when she goes off on someone. She was working until the end.
Since the show is taped in advance, my wife said she’s been in the hosptial for a few weeks.
Enjoyed her work on Y&R. I’m glad she was able to act right up until the end. RIP.
