Hearing details:
WASHINGTON House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa today announced three witnesses who will appear at a full committee hearing, Benghazi: Exposing Failure and Recognizing Courage, on Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at 11:30 AM in 2154 Rayburn House Office Building.
I applaud these individuals for answering our call to testify in front of the Committee. They have critical information about what occurred before, during, and after the Benghazi terrorist attacks that differs on key points from what Administration officials including those on the Accountability Review Board have portrayed, said Issa. Our committee has been contacted by numerous other individuals who have direct knowledge of the Benghazi terrorist attack, but are not yet prepared to testify. In many cases their principal reticence of appearing in public is their concern of retaliation at the hands of their respective employers. While we may yet add additional witnesses, this panel will certainly answer some questions and leave us with many new ones.
Witnesses: Mr. Mark Thompson
Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary for Counterterrorism
US Department of State
Mr. Gregory Hicks
Foreign Service Officer and former Deputy Chief of Mission/Chargé dAffairs in Libya
US Department of State
Mr. Eric Nordstrom
Diplomatic Security Officer and former Regional Security Officer in Libya
US Department of State
In October 2012, the Oversight Committee held the first hearing on the Benghazi attacks, which exposed denials of security requests and forced the Administration to acknowledge that the attacks were not sparked by a protest of a YouTube video, contrary to claims made by Obama Administration officials.

HUGH AND SERIES!!!
Hicks: “I’ve been demoted to desk officer. Before that I was functionally unemployed for a long time.” (In obvious retaliation for going off the reservation on the day Susan Rice lied about the video)
Dittos!!
I made that tagline shortly after Benghazi and I am not changing it until that man answers for his complete failure to our troops and country!!
POLITICAL RETALIATION
They wanted him dead, hence no rescue attempt.
If there aren't indictments for this... we no longer have liberty and justice for all.
-— The trick here is to keep dripping information ... one drop at a time. It’s going to be a long summer. -——
Yes, but there’s always something, like, “watch out for sharks at the beach this summer!”
They SHOULD BE discussing THAT THESE TWO SPECIFICALLY COULD HAVE BEEN RESCUED AND BE ALIVE TODAY, had dereliction, negligence and lies not immediately occurred even during the attack.
I think there is a Gosnell verdict. Not sure, I have so many iPads and tvs on I could be delusional. Haven’t been this busy since my wedding night.
Yes but 15 were special forces assigned to the “facility” per some sources.
Plus Hicks was demoted and out of a job for some time.
It looks like they’ve run out of rat questioners. Just our guys left now.
Wow...also demoted for talking to Chaffetz!!
Why was Hicks demoted?
Someone with a name demoted reassigned whatever this man.
YES, trained to go to HOT SPOTS!!!
Sept 17 cable from Obama to Pres of Libya
“outrageous attack”
Issa: it doesn’t talk about us working together to fight terrorism, does it.
We are trained to respond to hot spots per Mr. Hicks. Implication we were not allowed to respond.
Is the hearing still going on?
Jodi Arias verdict to be read in about an hour....
Thanks! I missed Beth Jones’ name.
Yep
