That’s better than the response an aunt of mine got when she was home alone with her autistic granddaughter and called the police after someone started banging on her door demanding to be let in. Police didn’t show up until SIX HOURS LATER! I ended up rushing over there myself and thankfully the guy was gone by the time I got there.

Police didn’t show up until SIX HOURS LATER! I ended up rushing over there myself and thankfully the guy was gone by the time I got there. This happened to me in about 1991 in San Jose. Guy trying to get in about midnight, and 911 told me they were busy and could get to me in a couple hours. Asked if I had a gun.
