not me today, but I did sixty years ago, as I lived in that area and played outdoors and felt safe...but then the world was a different place...
I also worked in the west 25th street area fifty years ago when I began a hairdressing career...dang today I wouldn't go to that area with out packing heat...
I am glad the girls were found alive, but like you my first thoughts were:
1. Why are the Cleveland police so bad with this kind of stuff?
2. Sowel who had murdered all those girls & women.
3. The police who drove by that dead girl and mistook her body for a dead deer.
Time will reveal the truth about these girls decade in captivity, but the Cleveland police really look very bad in this matter. I recall seeing interviews with family members in the Sowell case and those interviews gave the impression the police didn’t really care or try very hard to find the women.
I would be, am, very curious to find out what the Cleveland Police Detective rate is for dealing with missing children/women compared to other cities. Another chamber of horrors to be revealed...what a sad, sad thing.
