They took out 6 harrier jets on the tarmac, and the media looked the other way because of the election.
(Like they did when the CIA got its arse handed to it because one of its politically correct officials decided to throw a birthday party for an asset to be attended by a lot of our operatives and a station chief. The asset turned out to be a double agent and a suicide bomber.)
My understanding is that it was not proper protocol for a couple dozen Team 6 SEALS to all be on the same helicopter. And it’s a little too “coincidental” that it was the particular helicopter that terrorists hit and destroyed, shortly after Osama Bin Laden (or some relative of his) was killed and quickly disposed of and it had been revealed that it was SEAL Team 6 that had done the operation.
At some point the question comes as to what is just deadly incompetence and what is deliberate cooperation with our enemies.
How close were the incidents you mentioned in proximity to the time when Panetta went to Afghanistan and made the troops disarm before he would be with them - leaving them sitting ducks there (but not likely to be hit by terrorists in cooperation with the DOD because Panetta was there)?
