His mother was and is an American citizen. Cruz was an American when he was born. He did not have to become a naturalized citizen as he was an American when he was born. His allegiance has never been to any other country but America.
If he had been a Canadian, he would have had to be naturalized as an American, but he wasn’t.
McLame was born in Panama if I remember correctly. This will be given the okay by the senate.
