If both run I’d favor Treadwell over Miller. I think he’s a stronger candidate.

Begich should be target #1, we gotta get that seat back.

I agree. If we can get that seat along with Hagan’s in NC, I think we’ll just about do it with this path, (AK, AR, LA, NC, SD, WV). Nail down those, and Michigan and Iowa will only have to serve as backups.

Begich defeated a candidate who was indicted on corruption charges by a measly 1%. Cleaning his clock should not be difficult, as long as we don’t have Rove trashing the conservative candidate all over Fox. I’m with you about Miller. Treadwell would be preferable.

Don’t be surprised if Begich beggs for Lisa Murkowski to endorse him as a part of a “I’m a post partisan problem solver”. Murkowski may decide to threaten a Begich endorsement to get more pork from Mitch McConnell.
