BOSTON (CBS) The body of Boston Marathon bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev is now at a funeral home in Worcester.
Peter Stefan, owner of Graham Putnam and Mahoney Funeral Parlors, told WBZ-TV Friday he is handling funeral arrangements for the Tsarnaev family.
Stefan said his staff has experience with Muslim services, which includes washing the body and preparing it for burial.
A police cruiser parked outside the Graham Putnam and Mahoney Funeral Parlor Friday. We take care of a lot of Muslim funerals here, throughout the state, Stefan said, and this was no different, except for the circumstances.
A burial site has not yet been located and its not clear yet when a service will be held.
Normally, with Muslims its usually done sometimes as the same day, but no later than the following day, but we dont have that option with this, he said.
WBZs Beth Germano has confirmed that two cemeteries, one in West Roxbury, and one in Enfield, Connecticut, have turned down requests to having Tsarnaev buried there. Cemeteries in New Jersey have also said no.
Stefans funeral home will have paid police details outside throughout the weekend.
He told WBZ he is prepared for protests.
Youre always going to get a certain amount of people that are probably going to complain about what you do, he said.
I go back to the time when Lee Harvey Oswald died, somebody buried him. Timothy McVeigh, somebody handled that. Jeffery Dahmer, somebody handled that. Ted Bundy, somebody handled that. I mean, we bury the dead. Can I control what the circumstances are around their death? No. Can I pick and choose? No.
Would you criticize the medical people who saved the life of the other guy? (Tsarnaevs brother Dzhokhar)
Several protesters showed up outside a funeral home in North Attleboro Thursday night when Tsarnaevs body was taken there after it was released by the state medical examiner to the family.
Stefan said that was because of a mixup and that the body should have been brought directly to his business.
The official caused of Tsarnaevs death has not been released yet, but WBZ has confirmed his death certificate only says pending at this point in the case.
My mother is buried in Worcester. I hope to God they don’t let him in that cemetery.

Stefan said that was because of a mixup and that the body should have been brought directly to his business. It wouldn't surprise me at all to discover Tamerlan has already been laid to rest somewhere nearby. The above quote from this article suggests the possibility of a ruse played on the public to distract in order to avoid a media circus potential harm/damage at the actual burial location. If so, the ruse involved uniformed police for the escorts. I'm not suggesting the police were aware of the ruse, but with Mannino as mayor, I have no doubt Mannino's administration is capable of such underhanded deception.
Dig a big hole. Pour pig poop in. Place murderer’s rotting remains on top of poop. Shovel more pig poop. Fill in hole. Start pig farm on top.
Now theres three things...”
Listen, punk. To me you’re nothin’ but dog****, you understand? And a lot of things can happen to dog****. It can be scraped up with a shovel off the ground. It can dry up and blow away in the wind. Or it can be stepped on and squashed. So take my advice and be careful where the dog ****s ya!

That mural is even uglier in person, very weird and with a disturbing perspective — it’s right across from the main train/bus station downtown.
Why can’t they cremate and ship the ashes back to his mother or father, why keep him here?

I forget exactly where in Boston this is, but I can guarantee you it is NOT photoshopped.
How about a nice landfill with the rest of the garbage?
His body would join his soul then.
It’s a piece of something, that’s for sure.
Landfill material.
Why speed bump? I thought he should have been called roadkill.
Pack 'im in a pressure cooker.
I thought taking the body to a pig farm and feeding it to them.
Oh that’s good....yes!
I think that that the funeral centers should accept his body, on the condition that it comes in a sack made from pig’s hide.
