Tamerlan Tsarnaev had a prior assault and battery charge years before he 'planned' the Boston Marathon bombing
- His body was released to a funeral home on behalf of the relatives
- Widow Katherine Russell stopped cooperating with authorities
- Bostonians outraged that he will be buried in the city
- Families of the three people who died will reportedly get more than $1m in compensation, and those who lost limbs will get close to $1m
The mugshot of the Boston Marathon bomber Tamerlan Tsarnaev was released today giving proof that his violent streak started years before the fatal blasts.
Tsarnaev was booked in 2009 for hitting his then-girlfriend following an argument about another woman, prompting assault and battery charges that were dismissed before trial.
The mugshot photos come the day after it was announced that his body will be buried in Boston in spite of local outrage that his final resting place will be within the bounds of the city that he terrorized with pressure cooker bombs that killed three and injured more than 230 others.

I still think they should cremate him and send him to his mother...that way we can say we gave her back the son she claimed we took from her.

Five or ten years from now then, she’ll be coming to this nation to visit his grave.

No grave for him here, either.
Burn him and toss the ashes off a cliff.
Don’t even pollute the sea.

So let me get this straight he gets popped in ‘09 for beating on his girl friend. That would be a disqualifier for buying a gun, sort of a modified form of DV and I would expect that from Massachusetts. He gets a gun anyway. Hmmm?
Must be that lack of reasonable gun control, gun show loophole and no enhanced background check. Well that proves it DiFi is right, guns are just to dangerous Mr. & Mrs America. Turn’em all in ‘cept of course her gun and her security details guns. /s

Well they need to dispose of the body and not make a “site” for lamebrains to visit.
Bottom line is the family has the say...but if they can’t find someplace to bury him then what?

Did you know that this was Townsend's statement about "2001: A Space Odyssey"? I learned that fairly recently. Pretty darn funny.
Suddenly, it all made sense...

He had all the requirements to become a US Senator in Mass. A Democrat Senator. You're right. Up until the bombing, he could have been a Kennedy...

The dead bomber and wifey lived in an apartment about as big as a walk-in closet....only 800 sq.ft. to be exact. No basement.
Here he put together 4 different kinds of bombs, here he filled pressure cookers full of ball bearings, nails and camel pot roast.
Here he mixed his devil's broth, bubble, bubble, toil and trouble.
....and yet his wife saw nothing strange or scarey enough to report to the authorities....probably because her eyesight was strained from her 70-80 hours a week changing bedpans in some kind of low-level medical-related job.
Hubby, of course, was unemployed, and whiled his time away making bombs in the kitchen.....while watching babykins in a crib a few yards from the explosives.
All in all, it sounds like a marriage made in asylum heaven. Ain't academic love grand?
