A teenager had the scare of his life when an off duty police sergeant pulled a gun on him for holding up the drive through line at McDonald's.

DeKalb County, Georgia Police sergeant Scott Biumi, 48, was arrested and charged with felony aggravated assault after allegedly pulling a gun on a customer at the drive-through line at McDonald’s.

In plainclothes, as well. Could have ended up much worse.

Scott Biumi

This happened in my town. Sounds like he "ain't from around here."

Lucky for him he pulled this stunt on teens; any car driven by an adult around here likely has a gun in it and someone who's shot it before.

Just a tip for my new yankee transplant neighbors.

Per the article, he’s on paid administrative leave.

In a month, he’ll be back to work.

In six months, a promotion.

He should have called 911.

People have done so when their "happy meal" is not as happy as they ordered - not gotten their fries, etc!

He will undoubtedly file for a psych disability pension claiming stress of the job as the cause. He will probably receive a 3/4 pay tax free pension plus SSI. Because it's a psych pension he can play golf, water ski or do any physical activity he wants without fear of being caught on tape. If he was taking antidepressants you can be sure he will file a lawsuit against the pharmaceutical company who made the meds and maybe even the doctor that prescribed them. Some people think this guy is screwed but it's the exact opposite. Cha-ching.

This officer was wrong to ‘draw’ and point his weapon at someone over the issue of holding up the line.

That said, there are times, in the past (I don’t do ‘drivethrough’ any more), that a cop with a gun threatening the idiot that is trying to ‘chat up’ the counter girl almost seems acceptable. Young, and often immature men are often inconsiderate of others when they are thinking with their ‘other’ brain.

I notice in the ‘interview’ the young man says “WE”. Since he was (or appeared to be )alone in his car, that lends credence to the idea that he was holding up the line.

Heck, there’s thousands of cities and SO’s that will hire this kind of jerk. TSA headhunters are probably already talking with him.

There were two other people in the car with him. There was a hold up with the food and he was asked to wait. There is even video of this whole thing going down.

Let's be honest...haven't we all wanted to do this while waiting in line. :)

Best part of the Michael Douglas movie “Falling Down” was him pulling the gun in the fast food place over the breakfast/lunch argument.

Almost huh? What some of you people defend or support on here is absolutely frightening. I suspect you have some real issues going on.
