It is more than about the 2nd. It is about state's rights. If Kansas can say that the Fedgov can enforce gun laws, then it can say the same about EPA rules or OSHA regs.

What is interesting is that the kept things very low key when Montana tried it, but are escalating on Kansas.

It very well may come, some day, that the feds lack the resources, as they did in the slave days, to enforce their “supremacy”.
