Vice President Joe Biden's two sons and wife are getting by on $1.50 a day to bring attention to world hunger.
"I'm hungry. I'm very hungry," Hunter Biden told CNBC's Andrea Mitchell in an appearance with his brother Beau Biden to promote the Live Below the Line Campaign.
Nearly 1.5 billion people in the world live below the poverty line and are forced to subsist on the equivalent of $1.50 a day. Hunter Biden, chairman of the board of World Food Program USA, is living on $1.50 worth of food for five days. Beau and their mother, Jill, are participating for one day.
"I'm not as tough as my brother," joked Beau, who is Delaware attorney general.

Many of those are pregnant women, who then give birth to children who already suffer the effects of malnutrition, he noted.
His group funds programs in countries such as Kenya, where many children walk long distances to school just because there is food there, he said. While there, they also get an education that will help them climb out of the cycle of poverty.

Being talented or working hard isn’t nearly as important these days as having high powered connections in government.
...and they only use 99% of their brain to bring attention to stupidity...
The Biden theater does not impress me.
In memory of the man who said it best.

We have been giving the DC clowns plenty of money to take care if the poor. Joe has been one of the clowns for close to forty years, so whatcha been doing with our money?
The guys at the farmers market say they can spot the new poor because they’re the ones bargain shopping with food stamps.
The generational food stamp users eat only the best.
BS
Perhaps Biden will try to get his boss to stop sabotaging the American economy and jobs? So people can escape the poverty being forced on them by the “transformation” of USA into a (third- world tin- pot dictatorship).
Now... you are going to have to do some work out in the garden to get the rest of the meal, but right this minute, there's plenty of green-leaf lettuce and spinach and asparagus. Later, we'll have tomatoes and peppers and kohlrabi and in a week or two, radishes and chard.
You would eat well.

As an afterthought Joe, it is a pretty big gap between a one night $500,000.00 Rome trip to $1.50 a day food budget.
I know what you mean.
I remember my Mother who was born and reared on a farm, would go to the supermarket and it seemed to me that she had not bought anything to eat.
What she had actually done is buy Flower, meal, whole chicken or mullet which we could usually get for 9 cents a pound, etc.
My late wife was similar but me, I really don’t know how to cook from scratch so I buy food which often requires only to heat up or cook in a microwave.
I do often buy food which you have to open the box, then heat while adding ingredients or maybe even doing a little real cooking but never do like Mother did.
maybe the whole damn biden tribe can get together at their million dollar home next weekend for a barbeque to celebrate their sacrifice of being little people for 5 days
I expect they will enroll for welfare next.
Hey, Jill! You gonna finish that crap sandwich?
I guessing about now, Obama-bots are calling the Bidens urging them to apply for food stamps
Biden’s hair plugs eat more than that.
Isn’t that about how much Vice President and Dr. Biden give to charity each year?
If they are that worried about it maybe they should get Slow Joe to donate a little more to charity.
I think that a new religion will be the Biden family’s next step:

No one in the US eats on $1.5 per day and most of the poor have nice TVs and cell phones. The cost of living in these other countries like India is extremely low due to the low wages. So the whole exercise is a pile of BS
If they want to help the poor then lower taxes and grow the US economy. Then people will have more jobs and those that already have jobs will have more money for charity
it takes a globull village
