I served for half my life (as of this year) in the military and always thought of retired folks as “ambassadors” to aid in recruiting good people to serve.
I absolutely will NOT recommend anyone to join today’s Armed Forces and serve the whims of that Kenyan communist asshole in the White House. Maybe this is what the little punkass wanted in the first place, to deplete the military of people of conscience, replacing them with godless trogs who will swear loyalty to him and only him.
same here and not one vet I know wants anyone to serve today after how this Govt has dealt with Libya, and the wars plus their PC crap.
It seems only the officers and a few who are still in care about getting their promotion and it’s all about them not the country but then again wen some join for the freebies then it doesn;t surprise me.
I know after seeing the guy around the corner join the national guard to get his freebies and then wear the uniform getting thank you for your service and getting free meals while the only place he;s been is FT Benning then I only say thank you now when I get to know who they are , what unit and what they serve.
This guy thinks it’s funny he wears the uniform and gets his handouts and thank you but not off me now
