A rigged carnival game? You learn something every day.
I guess it was this guy’s first time to the fair.
30 year old man... Xbox... life savings of $2600...carnival game...
(do we see any type of pattern emerging from this data??)
‘Occupy’ carnival!
>> “Life savings = $2600” <<
Yes, he was a big investor.
Well, if the carny wasn’t too busy laughing, he might have considered telling the man he was too stupid to play anymore.
A rigged carnival game. A wet ocean. Who knew?
Definitely NOT a prepper
I worked carnivals a couple of times.
I would not go so far as to say the games are “rigged”.
But the odds and presentation are definitely all against the mark.
MAYBE someone will come up with $2600 *or the giant banana with dreadlocks he DID win. New Hampshire’s new motto should
be “Live *ree so you can lose your li*e savings at a carnival”
Don’t be too critical of this guy. I also lost my life savings at the carnival...twice. Once when I was 11. The second time I was older and got out of the deal with court-ordered monthly payments. But that was a little different situation. (fiction) HA!
When I was a 22 year old punk kid I worked for a brick layer. Hod carrier. Busted my ass for an entire week and was paid $100.00. Went to the fair and blew the whole thing trying to win a crooked game. Learned a hard lesson there. I was sick for a week.
Back around 1963-64, I saw a local man loose $20.00 on a carnival game. Back then that was the equivalent of three days pay!
He was determined to win his wife a clock at a game where you spin the spinner and attempt to hit the “win” slot.
He played and played, his wife tried to get him to quit! He was determined. but eventually she grabbed his arm and forced him away from the game.
As I watched I saw the carnies exchange glances with each other and with a small smirk on their faces grab up the money.
If it were real, you could feed your family for a week or so ...
Hey, but he’s got $2000 worth of tats, so at least he’s got that going for him.
Stuck on STUPID!!!!
I have often wondered why sheriff’s allow those carnival games. They are clearly engaged in illegal activity.
I recall when I was in college one of my friends lost every cent he had on him at the one where you toss the ball at a bulls eye hoping the ball falls into a hole in the bottom of the basket.
He would hit two in a row but always miss with the 3rd one. Despite my standing there telling him it was rigged, he kept on trying win back what he had lost.
I did the same thing when I was nine...
Yes, that’s a red flag for sure.
Another red flag... guy spends $2600 to win an XBox that has a retail price of $300-400.
Another red flag... guy loses $2600 before realizing the game is rigged.
Looks like we’ve got a genuwine genius on our hands.
