You do not misspell it. It is a transliteration of sounds that do not occur in the English language and are written in Arabic and as such is spelled in Roman characters as the speller hears it and tries to approximate it.

Excellent. I will now spell "mohammed" as "Child molesting satanist dog pig". It just seems so much more accurate. :)

Mohammed’s name has many spellings in Roman characters, partly because, while there is one Arabic script, there are many pronunciations and dialects- Mohammed, Mahmoud, Mehmet, Mahomet, Mahound, etc., and again, Arabic has many sounds that are unfamiliar to Latin based mouths. Arabic has at least three distinguishable sounds represented in English as “k.” One of them is sometimes represented as “q” and might bruise an unfamiliar throat.
