Muslims in America are much less inclined to support suicide bombing than other Muslims abroad, and are more likely to believe that people of other faiths can attain eternal life in heaven, according to a new report released Tuesday (April 30) by the Pew Forum on Religion & Public Life.
The Worlds Muslims report looks at Muslim views across seven categories: Islamic law; religion and politics; morality; women; relations among Muslims; interfaith relations; and religion, science, and pop culture. There is also a special section on U.S. Muslims.
Of the countries surveyed, only a majority of Muslims in America 56 percent believe people of other faiths can go to heaven; by contrast, that figure among U.S. Christians is about 64 percent. U.S. Muslims are also less likely than Muslims abroad to believe in evolution, sharing views that are closer to those of U.S. Christians.
On suicide bombing, 81 percent of U.S. Muslims said it was never justified, 7 percent said it was justified to defend Islam, and 1 percent said it was sometimes justified.

When I hear one “American” Muz criticize the acts of Muzzie terrorists; when I hear a single Imam speak out, I might buy into this BS...
In investing there’s a volatility number called beta. If the stock’s beta is 1.2 it means that if the market moves x then your stock will move 20% more than that. For Muslims, their beta is 2. That means as long as the surrounding culture is violence free, nothing happens. But if there’s a riot, your Muslim is going hog wild shooting and killing.
Staunch Christians have a beta of .5 or less. If there’s violence around them, they don’t participate unless they have to.
Which would you like to have living next door?
It’s a pew poll, and of course it doesn’t say exactly what the “Religion News Service” says. You can dig down from here:
http://www.religionnews.com/2013/04/30/poll-u-s-muslims-more-moderate-than-muslims-worldwide/
I’m a bit curious about this “news service”. Another muslim front?
Just kind tolerant peace-loving people.
Problem is most Americans have their head up their a$$ and actually believe it.
I tried following those links and couldn’t find the poll or the 157 pages. I think it’s bunk.
One thing learned on 9-11-2001. No muslim can be trusted.......EVER!!!!!!
If a person does NOT at least once a day protest, make a comment either online or in the real world or better yet perform some obvious gesture aimed at some degree to Moslems that they had better think again, go find the best air fare out of America or how to convert absolutely to being a christian.
Though of the latter I would still have some reservations.
Leave America Moslems, you cannot overcome us no matter how many of you arrive.
That’s perfect!
Actually, they’re about 2.7 million. If the article said five million, then it is false in that regard.
Muslim “tolerance” is directly proportional to their ability to be intolerant, i.e. their percentage of the population.
Think of it as a large bar with 100 people in it. If one of those people is a gang member, they aren’t likely to start anything. However, if 10 or more of them are gang members, then the trouble starts.
We forget this at our peril.
It is. It’s been presented in all kinds of disquises all over.
The convenient thing about Pew is that their stuff typically runs to several hundred pages of non-readability, so you can use it for whatever you want. It’s like the Obamacare-bill.
Where were/are the mass marches condemning Islamic Terrorism. Where are the dozens and dozens of arrests for plotting terrorism from information supplied by these so-called moderates about others in their Madrassas and Mosques?
Where is it? It ain’t there because there is no such thing as a ‘moderate’ Muslim. They are all borne of hatred and oppression given to them by their Quran manual for terror.
They virtually have to be cornered and tortured to express any sentiment of disagreement with their murdering brothers.
Even at 2.7 million people, 8% = 216,000 muslims in the U.S. who support suicide bombing. If only 1% of those who support suicide bombing are willing to step on the vest, that is 2,160 potential suicide bombers. Spread them around to 50 American cities and let them loose and we’ll see just how “small” of a problem this is.
LOL.
Right.
If it was me, I’d have dropped a dime on him to the IRS saying it looked like he was living beyond his means - maybe cheating on his taxes.
The only way I know to get someone - the IRS only cares about the money, wherever they can get it.
Whatever. 100K plus people are okay with suicide bombing.
Good idea. I'll have to get his name and maybe address.
I work with a lot of Muslims and many of them came here to escape all that nuttery.
