I understand Austin, but what’s wrong with DFW? I live in Denton and to me, it’s the greatest place to live in the US.
Well, I live less than 20 miles from Austin city limits and we are a very conservative area. Nothing wrong with the suburbs, but the downtown areas are nothing but liberal havens.
Look up Austin Smart Growth and see the effects of liberalism. Bike lanes instead of more roads for commuters, highrise apartments, light rail, taking parking spaces to use as sidewalk cafes, etc.
If that poster spent a few years living in Los Angeles, they'd come back and kiss the ground of DFW.
Yeah, we got our share of libs around, but we're still in the majority here. Of course, we get out-voted in the heart of Dallas County, but such is life in all mega cities. The surrounding areas are solidly red.

Agree, 2DV! I’m in Grapevine. Born and raised in Dallas in much different times in the ‘40s-’50s.
Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Houston and the border cities in the Rio Grande Valley have turned blue. I think Fort Worth is NOT blue, but has just caved to the gay movement; based on what I see on local news. Creepy!
