Pretty slick jo dori, controlling the muzzle and using leverage against the goblin. Guy probably has aikido training. My thinking also. He must have experience under his belt. A similar move can disarm someone with a handgun held near the stomach area. Use the left hand to force the held gun to the stomach, reach in from above with the right hand, rotate the handgun out which can break the trigger finger, and pull gun away. If it goes off, it hits the perp. This fellow was clearly prepared against the black perp.
