Stupid...foot in mouth . Sometimes you’re better off keeping opinion to self.

If you’re in the hospital deaf with your ears still ringing or looking at the stumps that were your legs. No you idiot it’s not scarier.

The left has found the range. Only crazy Ron Paulites object!

Forget that one million people under martial law, while law enforcement lies about the terrorist being armed to avoid early scrutiny. That’s just sausage making details there.

Finally, the media can run with the story -it’s Paulites.

Another point to consider.....

I noticed at least one SWAT team member in Watertown had what looked like a digital camcorder mounted on top of his helmet.

I wouldn’t appreciate having the layout of my house, the rooms and their contents recorded. An invasion of privacy as well as a potential threat to the security of both myself and my family members.

Who saw those images? Were they destroyed or deleted after the search of a home didn’t turn up any terrorists?

Of course Mr Paul is correct.
Anyone that looks at the Toyota Tundra in So. California and the boat in Boston after the POlice shot them up, with unarmed subjects inside that is not afraid of the police is dumber than a box of rocks.
In neither case did the shooters (the POlice) know who or what they were shooting at. They suspected and shot. Scares me. And if the ‘lockdown’ of Boston does not scare the living hell out of you, you need to read a little history.

Lots of Freepers have been saying pretty much the same thing, but now that Ron Paul said it I expect all heck to break out here.

HAving watched the tapes of cops forcing themselves into normal citizens’ homes, I agree with Paul (a rare event).

This shows what a disaster it is to have disarmed an entire city.

Some of you So Called Conservatives on this thread should get off FR - you are pseudo-Conservatives. I am aghast at the ignorance of the Constitution and Bill of Rights displayed here. Yes - RP said it stupidly - but is that any reason to deny the crux of what he said and what so many others are saying? I don’t like RP either - but I understand the truth.

You pseudo conservatives are DISGUSTING ... if this is your concept of Freedom under the Bill of Rights to say what the police did was Okay - then you are just IGNORANT and STUPID and it would seem Illiterate too since there is no evidence that you have read anything of pre Revolutionary History - the CAUSES for the Revolution...

Tragic Stupidness and Ignorance is all I can say about you pseudo Conservatives

Read the paragraph beginning with ONCE — okay ... then compare that to the videos and photos you see all over the internet about the Boston / Watertown manhunt... READ IT

Jack Schonely knows a lot about manhunts. After 30-plus years as a police officer, he now teaches perimeter containment tactics to other law enforcement agencies and wrote the book Apprehending Fleeing Suspects: Suspect Tactics and Perimeter Control, so we asked him how the Boston police executed their manhunt /NOT.

Here is what was supposed to have happened according to police - based on the Constitution and Bill of Rights - BUT was violated time and again in the pursuit of two - then ONE terrorist ...

Once the containment perimeter is established, the search begins. In Boston, officers in tactical gear went door to door in search of Dzhokar. In a manhunt, the police can access lawns and peer in windows, but the legal protection of probable cause still exists. If there is no sign of trouble—a blood smear, sign of forced entry, cries for help—the police cannot enter a home no matter who’s on the loose. “We still have to follow the law,” Schonely says. “Without probable cause, the police can only ask residents to come out for permission to enter.”

“The officers were asking, ‘How should we deal with the residents?’ and we made it clear: ‘As courteous and as professional as possible, yet getting the job done,’” Boston Police Department Superintendent William Evans says.

Searching a populated area is certainly a challenge, but it can also work to the police force’s advantage. “It can be a plus or a minus,” Schonely says. “All those people are put in danger, but they all have eyes and ears.” Indeed, Dzhokar was snared by the report of a citizen who saw signs of someone on his property—the covering over his boat was out of place.

It was all a real spectacle.I have yet to figure out how they got the older one and missed the baby terrorist who is said to have left skid marks on his bro. That said, after all the police tactics and house to house brouhaha, when dinner time came around and the bars opened for the night, the officials said “well, never mind, just be careful” I couldn’t tell if the sheep were happier to get out of prison or happier to have baby jihad caught.

LOLOL! A guy goes out for a smoke after staying in the house to keep safe from the terrorist, finds him in his boat that was supposedly searched earlier, and voila! Thar he is in all his bloody glory. And the jerk was unarmed at that. At least, that is what we are told.

Whatta country.
