The State Department on Monday defended its decision not to have lower-level employees testify before Congress about last year´s attack in Benghazi, Libya. House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) is pushing ahead with his investigation of the terrorist assault, and has asked for legal protections for lower-level employees who might be called to testify. The State Department pushed back on Monday and said the independent probe into the attack "should be enough" for lawmakers. We think that we´ve done an independent investigation, that it´s been transparent, thorough, credible, and detailed, and that we´ve shared those

The list, Ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list
We checked our own homework and we gave ourselves an A. Not going to fly.
‘It’s the cover-up that gets ya’
“We have studiously and vociferously whitewashed this tragic episode enough already. It’s time to move on.”
If this were a Republican administration there would be impeachment proceedings right now.
If your investigation was is so transparent, then why are you blocking the release of documents and refusing to give clearances to defense attorneys?
Heck if I was responsible for the deaths of four innocents I’d step down in shame.
In the private sector you get fired for being late to work four times.
what a lying bunch of crap
I don’t know, guys. I recall the afternoon oaf 9/11/2013, jumping out of my car at carline talking about how the Embassy had just been taken over and the Administration and State Department were APOLOGIZING, citing OUR complicity due to some video.
Now, eight months later, am still waiting for these two depts. to do the right thing or force us to face the consequences of our wimpiness.
And here we are, now, being told, in so many words, by the pomeranian media to expect more bombings.
Well Hokay!
Congress only funds you and has authority of oversight for you lackey’s.
Anyone wanting on or off this ping list, please advise.
Brings to mind the old expression of “putting the fox in charge of the hen house.”
Fox, chicken coop.
Mmmm.......
No.
not saving is bad enough
when you walk thru the steps that would have a seal exposing himself to put a laser designator on a target... only to not have that target get hit... thats when it changes from doing nothing... to setting someone up to get killed
This is J. Edgar Hoover of the FBI.
I know I'm in there, and if I don't come out with my hands up...I'm coming in after me.
I support the investigation, but let’s face it, Obama and Hilary went worldwide lying about this with the video apology, we know it wasn’t true, and we’ve let them get away with it.
Hilary disgraced herself on this, and she’s being touted for president!
It’s ridiculous as is the craveness of the republican party.
