The U.S. government had the ability to “react and respond” to the Benghazi terrorist attack and could have had forces on the ground before the second wave of the assault began, a special operator with knowledge of the response told Fox News in an exclusive interview. Due to the explosive nature of his allegations, the special ops member asked to remain anonymous.
“I know for a fact that C 110 the UComm CIF was doing a training exercise, not in the region of northern Africa, but in Europe. And they had the ability to react and respond,” he told Fox News.
The C 110 is a 40-man Special Ops force capable of rapid response and deployment, a group trained specifically for an event like the Benghazi attack, Fox News reports. The unit was training in Croatia on Sept. 11, 2012, just 3.5 hours away from Benghazi.
“They would have been there before the second attack,” the anonymous special operator said. “They would have been there at a minimum to provide a quick reaction force that could facilitate their exfil out of the problem situation.”
He continued: “Nobody knew how it was going to develop, and you hear a whole bunch of people and a whole bunch of advisors say, ‘Hey, we wouldn’t have sent them there because the security was unknown situation.’ If it’s an unknown situation, at a minimum you send forces there to facilitate the exfil or medical injuries. We could have sent a C 130 to Benghazi to provide medical evacuation for the injured.”
The special operator said there are members of special ops and other officials who are still active and involved in the situation. “They would be decapitated if they came forward with information that could affect high-level commanders,” he added.
While he says he doesn’t “blame them for not coming forward,” the special operator said members of the community feel betrayed and believe the betrayal goes all the way to the top. Further, the Special Ops community feels like the Americans in Benghazi were left to fend for themselves.
The White House has said from the beginning that there were no forces available to assist Americans in Benghazi on Sept. 11.

Retired Army Lt. Gen. William G. Boykin—formerly commander of U.S. Special Forces Command and deputy undersecretary of defense for intelligence—told CNSNews.com that, if it had been asked, the Defense Department could have sent a plane to Libya on Sept. 11, 2012, to transport a rescue team of U.S. security personnel that instead ended up taking a chartered private plane from Tripoli to Benghazi that night.
“There is no question that we could have moved an airplane in there and we could have also put boots on the ground at the embassy,” Gen. Boykin told CNSNews.com.
“State should have coordinated with DOD and said: We’ve got to have an airplane,” said Gen. Boykin. “The Department of Defense could have provided an airplane in there. All they had to do was ask.”

The Navy said Saturday it is replacing the admiral in command of an aircraft carrier strike group in the Middle East, pending the outcome of an internal investigation into undisclosed allegations of inappropriate judgment.
Rear Adm. Charles M. Gaouette is being sent back to the USS John C. Stennis’ home port at Bremerton, Wash., in what the Navy called a temporary reassignment. The Navy said he is not formally relieved of his command of the Stennis strike group but will be replaced by Rear Adm. Troy M. Shoemaker, who will assume command until the investigation is completed.
It is highly unusual for the Navy to replace a carrier strike group commander during its deployment.
Even a single fly over with an A-10 could have broken the attack without a single shot fired.

Even if he came forward and this was the truth it wouldn’t matter a bit to Obamazombies. They don’t care about the guys that died there and they could care less if you got droned tomorrow.
There are many people in many dept’s watching to see how these people are treated and protected. If they are successful in testifying and are able to cause change hundreds will come forward in other investigations, If they are sacrificed and destroyed this will be the end of this republic.
There are more MANPADS per square mile in Libya than anywhere else in the World. Many of those have likely made their way into Syria. The MANPADS in question are likely the SA-18, SA-16, and SA-14. The SA-18 is the most modern but all 3 are good at killing helos. You can train a monkey to use these AA weapons. A highly skilled operator can kill fixed wing aircraft with either of these weapons.
