Anti-Semitic incidents in Canada rose by 3.7 percent in 2012, and Holocaust denial rose 77 percent, revealed the Audit of Anti-Semitic Incidents released by the League for Human Rights of Bnai Brith Canada.
According to the audit, there were 1,345 anti-Semitic incidents in Canada in 2012, up from 1,297 in 2011.

I’ll bet Arab immigration is also up 77% (just by coincidence).
They also think that Canada is part of the United States.
I understand the part where they audited actual incidents that took place to figure out the crime, but what did they “audit” to find an increase in holocaust denial? Crackpot blogs?
Oh, Geeze.
they can come and talk to me. I’ve sat up long nights with Holocaust survivors- with hand-etched tattoos on their arms. Crying, wanting to know why they’d had to see their families killed at the time, 50 years later.
They made it up?
Geeze.
We need more prayers.
This poll is crap, even if they are having immigration.
I live in Canada and would estimate that holocaust denial is the belief of 2% or less of the population here.
So that would imply that it has risen from 1.00% to 1.77% which would be a 77% increase, or something like that.
And yes, it is rather similar to Muslim immigration figures, and yes, aside from maybe two dozen non-Muslims, that probably is where holocaust denial is believed.
Maintaining their quasi-democratic fascist social order probably isn't going to get the holocaust denial nonsense flushed out.
You’re right.
I’m not the least bit surprised. After all, Israeli Apartheid Week was founded at the University of Toronto, and my own Alma Mater (University of Guelph), was the fifth school, that that odious mildew spread to...
I would be more than willing to bet that at least half of that 77% are young University hipsters, who are useful idiots and dhimmi toadies, who even ten years ago would have been the first to say that Anti-Semitism is the worst and most insidious form of racism. Now it’s all about the poor, oppressed Palestinian “Freedom Fighters”, who are trying to reclaim their “ancestral land” from the false and illegal nation of so-called “Israel”.
Basically I think they just shake the Magic 8 Ball to come up with some of these stats. Like the one OMoron came out with that 90% of Americans are for gun control.
A lot of people are for gun control - I mean you shouldn’t be firing indiscriminately all over the place, right?
Like similar statistics in the US I assume they're based on criminal activity. Remember Canada has hate speech laws. I'm guessing that the Holocaust Denial stat is based on a very small sample.
Ahhh, good point. They are measuring people who were prosecuted for holocaust denial, which could of course mean that some prosecutors were more motivated to prosecute that last year, not that it actually increased.

I hate excerpting, but no choice. The most important 2 paragraphs from the article
We are particularly concerned about this years findings of increased participation in these incidents by perpetrators self-identifying as Muslims who are apparently supportive of Islamist ideologies of hate and violence. But we are encouraged by the many Muslims with whom we work closely, who are prepared to expose antisemitism in their community, said Frank Dimant, CEO of Bnai Brith Canada. The Audit shows an overall decrease in vandalism and violence, but an increase of 10.6% in incidents of harassment, he said. Jews were targeted in their homes and at their workplaces, on their way to synagogue or returning from school. The language has moved from F-- the Jews to 'Kill the Jews, with Holocaust Denial cases soaring by 77%, and threats becoming more ugly, explicit and open.
Of course the many supportive Muslims referenced don't make the harassment any less.
Can’t imagine it’s very common at a criminal level, though I don’t like speech laws and can’t imagine why Canada needs them. Germany, I understand, given their history. I can recall two prominent cases though, Earnest Zundel, and he went far past Holocaust Denial. And it’s a couple decades ago. And David Ahenakew of the Canadian First Nations, and he only justified it. A decade plus ago. That could well be the baseline
I’m sure these are based on crime stats, not polls. The 90% “gun control” if falsified, I doubt the percentage is ever that high, but the question isn’t “gun control”, whatever that is, but background checks, often with qualifiers. I support barring violent felons (not all felons forever which makes me a radical rightwinger) and those institutionalized (by the authorities) as a danger from having firearms. Though I’d always answer no, the fact is depending on how the question is worded, I’m probably a yes most of the time. Statistics lie. Crime stats too, but not like polls.
The Jews said “Never Again” but a lot of them didn’t mean it. Many consistently vote for candidates and policies that will do them harm then wonder why they become victims.
And in the first years after the war the general tactic among revisionist scholars was to instead defend and justify actions of the Nazis in order to play down the importance of the Holocaust (the Jews got what they deserved etc). Basically no one completely denied that genocide had occurred until about the mid-70’s....which says everything you need to know about the legitimacy of the movement.
