Please see post 24.

Driver is suspicious in many ways.

A few of my questions:

Danny is so scared that he allows his nickname to be used instead of any random name or symbol.

Danny is so smart that he’s only been in the U.S. for two months and he’s already so wealthy he tries to hide it from the brothers.

Danny is so smart that he waits for a stranger to walk up to his driver side window after pulling up behind him at night shortly after the bombing and
even rolls down his window, even thou Danny has been following the story and so knows suspects have not been captured.

Danny got away without being fired at?

In the earlier story Danny knew they were loading weapons. In the second story he thought it was luggage.

Really? Luggage? Well, technically the collection of weapons WAS being
lugged around by them.

They already needed food and drinks so bad they risked going inside a convenience store? Hadn’t they just robbed one?

Didn’t I read somewhere that Danny’s car had an odd bumper sticker?

Isn’t there a photo showing these brothers in NYC with a couple of Chinese young men?

Danny is so smart that he allowed publication of his alma mater, degree type, and graduation year?

Who or what is Danny?

He said don't use his Chinese name, only his American nickname.

Danny is so smart that he’s only been in the U.S. for two months and he’s already so wealthy he tries to hide it from the brothers.

Danny had come to the US in 2009 for a master’s degree, graduated in January 2012, and returned to China to await a work visa. He came back two months ago.

Danny is so smart that he waits for a stranger to walk up to his driver side window after pulling up behind him at night shortly after the bombing and even rolls down his window, even thou Danny has been following the story and so knows suspects have not been captured.

That was dumb, but perhaps it so shocked him that maybe he thought the guy needed help. Can't really offer an explanation for that question of yours.

Danny got away without being fired at?

That is a good question and is a bit hard to believe, but then truth is often stranger than fiction.

In the earlier story Danny knew they were loading weapons. In the second story he thought it was luggage.

The 1st story says: After picking up his brother, and transferring guns and bombs into the trunk, the car spend off. This is not a quote by him. By then it was probably known what was brought into the car and the person writing the story put that into the story as written. At any rate it was not offered as a quote by Danny.

The 2nd story offers what he said in the interview not what the person writing the 1st story said. .

Really? Luggage? Well, technically the collection of weapons WAS being lugged around by them.

When you are faced with a situation like this maybe you will see things not as they are but what you perceive them to be.

They already needed food and drinks so bad they risked going inside a convenience store? Hadn’t they just robbed one?

What they really needed was gas, so I assume that the brother wanted to get food and drinks too. Having never robbed any place of business or any personal individual I would only guess that I wouldn't be wasting time to pick up drinks and snacks. But the clerk had this to say in the 1st article: Mohammed Malah, 46, was working the night shift but paid little attention to the customer who head (sic) to the row of fridge where the drinks were stored.

Didn’t I read somewhere that Danny’s car had an odd bumper sticker?

I didn't see any reference to a bumper sticker in either of the articles, but I may have missed it.

Isn’t there a photo showing these brothers in NYC with a couple of Chinese young men?

Yes

Danny is so smart that he allowed publication of his alma mater, degree type, and graduation year?

I am sure lots of people could be attributed to those items, even of Chinese descent.

Who or what is Danny?

Probably just a person in the wrong place at the wrong time who is lucky to be able to talk about the ordeal. Then again perhaps not. One thing I am confident of, in the 12 hours they talked to him I am sure they tried to establish a connection between him and the 2 brothers but found none. Doesn't mean they won't find one down the road.
