My daughter had gotten called for jury duty three times in the same year.The 3 rd time she decided she wasn’t going.
Well,the Deputy Sheriff showed up and hauled her off to jail.
The Sheriffs apologized and said this judge is hopping mad and they were sorry ,they had to arrest her.
I got a call from the kids”Our mom’s in jail”.
When I found out what for I nearly died laughing.

I don’t know the process o jury selection in California but in Ohio the jury pool is selected from registered voters. In California perhaps they select from Licensed Drivers maybe?
Correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t jury duty selections drawn from the voter rolls? Kinda proves the point that illegals are voting out there.
