Wonder if the non-citizens will be harassed and face potential jail time if they don’t show up for jury duty?
My daughter had gotten called for jury duty three times in the same year.The 3 rd time she decided she wasn’t going.
Well,the Deputy Sheriff showed up and hauled her off to jail.
The Sheriffs apologized and said this judge is hopping mad and they were sorry ,they had to arrest her.
I got a call from the kids”Our mom’s in jail”.
When I found out what for I nearly died laughing.
Said daughter, I’m glad someone thinks this is funny,now get me out!

What she really wants is not to serve.
So next time she should show up with a copy of on of Rush Limbaugh’s or some other well know (hated) conservative writer. Read it will waiting for the lawyers to go through the selection.
Chances are good the defense will eliminate her from the jury.
Of course living in SF she may have to endure dirty looks and evil comments from other jurors. It may be best to carry the book in her handbag and not get it out until in the court room and put it back before leaving.
