Look, there are good and bad people anywhere. There were even a few good Nazis (like the guy who was a German agent in China, and wrote reports back to Germany about the horror of the Japanese barbarism, naively expecting Hitler to intervene for humanity).

I have known wonderful people who were Muslims, and also some absolutely nutty ones.

But here is what counts. Make yourself a little chart. It could be a spreadsheet. Label the rows with names of religion-founders, and then have three columns: one for “Told his followers to kill”, “Supervised murder himself”, and ““Spoke against killing.”

Then just check in the boxes (cells). Lao-tse, Confucius, Socrates, Buddha, Moses, Noah, Jesus, Mohammed, Lenin (and others of your choice).

What you find, is that almost alone among religious leaders is Mohammed. He supervised mass-killing, and openly encouraged murder and slavery. His best company would be Lenin, who might not have personally killed enemies, but ordered mass killing which mounted into the millions.

Yes, there is a difference. Islam is a false religion, by its fruit, and by its founder’s behavior.

It would be constitutional to ban Islam from the United States, as it was clearly not intended to be covered by the Bill of Rights, there having been no Muslims in North America at the time. We surely could stop importing more Muslims. We could deport the ones who are here.

But supporting killer-Muslims in luxury (in the expensive part of Boston), paying their tuition at exclusive schools, feeding them, giving enough spending money for flights to and from their homeland, all with public funds, is a disgrace and is stupidity. I forgot: also we have been exercising a “catch and release” policy when they are caught stealing.

It is an informative paradox that coddled Muslims turn against us, and people who have to work their own way, mostly become loyal Americans. There is a lesson there. It is parallel with human development: spoiled children grow up to be untrustworthy adults. Children taught responsibility, have a good chance of growing up to be responsible as adults.

Obviously, someone who blows up innocent people because of a delusion, is not a person who has learned decency and responsibility.

Lenin induced most of his victims by mass starvation. Stalin was worse than Lenin both in numbers and by direct complicity in that he approved the execution of a larger fraction of his victims individually. Then there's Mao...

This EXACT same logic could be used to ban ALL personal weapons developed after the signing of the 2nd Amendment - Be careful.

We surely could stop importing more Muslims. We could deport the ones who are here.

The Constitution doesn't protect Christians - it protects religions from federal interference. Would you like to "export" all Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses, Scientologists, etc. because their religion didn't exist at the time of the writing of the Constitution? There were no Hindis, Wiccans, Buddhists, etc. in America at the time of drafting of the Constitution either so I guess we can boot them all out too. You need to be careful also about this kind of rhetoric lest somebody take it to the extent that I just did and logically so, because FR is not about this kind of racially charged, volatile comment. The Robinson's could get into a lot of trouble if somebody decided to make a serious issue about it.
