Mayor Bloomberg will be happy (or perhaps not) to know, or should at least ponder and lose sleep over the fact, that the Founders had politicians exactly like himself in mind when they added the Second Amendment to the Constitution.

"Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, — That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government."

When the governed rise up and abolish what Bloomie and his friends have self-admittedly done to the Constitution, he should not be surprised that what he's done was thereby declared treasonous.
