Actually my own daughter had a loser BF living with her for a while. I used to tell my three daughters that if they didn’t get a good education, they may end up with an unemployed construction worker.(okay, my parenting techniques have since improved).
So...BINGO.
Fortunately, she got tired of putting up with him lounging around HER house all day, scratching his armpits and drinking beer whilst she went to her excellent job...and BOOTED HIM.
Later we found out he had never worked in construction at all but rather he ‘drove machinery part-time”.
I don’t know what that job would be called but I guess I won’t get a chance to ask him.
Similar situation. We decided to love on him, invite him to all the family stuff and then some and within two weeks he left. He couldn’t take our “so called perfect” family. Had I known it was that easy we would have loved on him from the gitgo.
